Stitchfix Fall 2018

Hello there, today is all about Stitchfix. One year-ish ago I posted my very first Stitchfix kind of unboxing and since then I have done one for almost every season, and now fall has rolled around again so I thought it would be fun to do it again. Check out my summer one too, if you’re interested in all of the Stitchfix things. But for today I will be talking all about the fall season and my most recent Stitchfix Box, let’s dive right on in.

Fall Scents 2018

Fall Scents 2018

Switching it up today, thought I would do something a little bit different and something in the spirit of fall since it is officially the fall season. So, today I will be focusing on some of my favorite fall scents, more specifically my favorite fall candles which are mostly from Bath & Bodyworks but there are some others in there too. So, let’s dive in and see what kind of scents I love during this time of the year.

Holiday Gift Ideas: Stocking Stuffers

And now it is time for the last part of my holiday gift ideas series, this was a very short-lived one but I still feel like I’ve covered quite a bit of ground. Today we are going to be focused on stocking stuffers, which are really just tiny gifts and lots of candy if you ask me. Let’s jump into this one.

Fall 2017 Nail Polish Picks

Fall Nail Polish Picks

Yesterday it was makeup and today I have decided to focus on nails, nail polish is probably my second favorite thing after makeup, I love the stuff and always have my nails painted. It might seem a little bit crazy but I just don’t ever completely feel like myself with bare nails. I did one of these for the summer months and figured I should do one for the fall season, I might even do one for winter but I’m not sure yet. Anyway, let’s get into talking about nail polish!

Summer 2017 Nail Picks!

Summer NailsPicks

It is hotter than hell outside, which means one thing if you ask me, it’s peak summertime! Which I love, I’ve been waiting months through mildly cold weather and actually cold weather for this, so I’m soaking it up and dreading the day that the warm weather goes away. Anyway, in honor of the season, I have decided to share some of my favorite summer nail polish picks with you guys, of course, I just recently picked up some new super fitting summer nail polish, but I haven’t owned it long enough to talk about it really. So, here are my picks.

KB Shimmer Whole Lava Lovin’ – This is one of the very few holographic nail polishes I own and I love it! I really need to get more. I think this one is super fun for the summertime because it’s a fairly bright pink, it sparkles like crazy in the sun light and overall just seems like a really good polish for the time of year. Also, I love the name!

China Glaze Papaya Punch  – This one is a classic summer color in my collection, I’ve had this for probably way too long but it’s a color that I just adore, it’s very bright and orange and fun, which is great if you ask me. It also applies like a dream, which is a huge bonus!

Essie Mojito Madness  – Is the best Essie brand nail polish that I’ve ever tried, I feel that Essie as a brand is so hit and miss to me but this one is a hit for sure! This color is stunning, it’s a two coater, it’s very easy to apply and it looks amazing. The name seems very fitting for the color and the time of year I think.

Wet ‘N Wild Wear Skinny Jeans – I believe this one is limited edition, but you can still find it some places online, however, I am going to be so sad when I can’t get my grubby little hands on this because this is one of my favorite nail polishes of all time. I think this is perfect for both the spring and summertime, it’s got an amazing formula, it looks and wears fantastic as well.

China Glaze In The Lime Light – This one is a tiny bit trickier to work with than all of the others, but it’s such a fun and bright color that I think it’s worth it. It has a little bit of shimmer to it, which I am a big fan of and I think overall it looks really great.

Zoya Zuza  – Zoya is probably my favorite brand, either them or China Glaze, so I’m surprised I only have one Zoya polish on this list but it’s come to my attention that I don’t really have a lot of fun Zoya colors, most of them are darker or neutral, however, I do own this one and I think this is a fantastic color for this time of year. This reminds me of the ocean and I love it, it’s blue with the faintest bit of shimmer and every time I bust it out I really just want to go to the beach.

And those are all of my current choices for favorite summertime nail colors, I think it’s a pretty good mix and I’m really happy with the selections that I made.

What are some of your favorite summer nail colors?

Summer 2017 Wishlist!

Add heading

It’s time for another seasonal wish list, a few months ago I posted a spring clothing wishlist and I’ve decided with it now pretty much-being summer that it was probably time to do one for the summer time, however this time around I’ve done a mix of products. Which really just means makeup, skincare and clothes basically, but still it’s a mixture of things that I am lusting after this warm season.

31ApstpzFIL Let’s start this list off with something very random, something small and very cute, the Tonymoly Gummy Bear Jelly Hand Cream in the scent Raspberry. Ulta carries a few of these currently but not this scent, and if I’m being completely honest I think I would like the scent but I really just want a cute little bit gummy bear to sit on my desk. Yes, I am aware that’s kind of a stupid reason for wanting something but I also really like hand creams and find myself using them a lot at work. Plus this one is just really cute!

52046189Let’s continue one with the kind of strange and weird products, let’s talk about these earrings from the SUGARFIX by BaubleBar collection for Target. I know these are kind of tacky and a little bit out there, but I still really like them and think that they would be a really fun and interesting piece for the spring and summer time, even if I’m not sure how often I would wear them. I just really like the colors and think they look super fun, so I may have to get my hands on these the next time I am in a Target.

41PhjmTGjLLI am a lover of nail polish as you may know, I also really like glitter even though I don’t wear it enough and in the summer time I love bright, fun things like most people, so I think this nail polish has all of those things. The is the China Glaze Polish in Point Me To The Party. This looks like it would be a super fun glitter topper to so many different colors and I really want to get my hands on it, or better yet it on my nails.

61brSII68IL._SX522_Another slightly strange item but a product that I think fits really well with the summer theme, mostly because everyone seems to be obsessed with beachy waves in the summer time. This is a Bed Head Wave Artist, which I have heard very good things about and seen some really great pictures of the aftermath of this. I am also not really a big hair person, I’m not good at doing hair and I’m usually really lazy about when I do because I just don’t like putting in the effort much, however, this seems like it’s very user-friendly and very easy to do so I am interested in this just for something a little bit different.

52309833I really like this dress from Target, I think this is very pretty, soft and summery which sounds like the perfect recipes for something on this list. The thing about this dress is I’m not really sure where I would wear it because while it doesn’t seem fancy it also doesn’t seem super casual, but I’m still loving the look of this dress and kind of lusting after this. Also, I think this would make a very pretty bridal dress for my rehearsal/if I start feeling hot and don’t want to wear my wedding dress any longer but I’m not sure about that.

51731865These sandals are the next thing on this list, they are from Target like half of the things on this list. I saw these and knew that they had to go on this list because I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to get these, they belong in my closet. I adore sandals and I really love beaded things, so I really need to get my feet into these.

Let’s throw it to some makeup, one of the few cosmetic items that are on this list is the Nars Orgasm Blush.  I don’t need this at all, but this is so hyped up and looks so pretty that I’m kind of drooling over it currently. This is one of the things on this list that I may not pick up, but I am still lusting over it.

I recently got a sample of the Mario Badescu Hylauronic Eye Cream and tried it out for a few days, I think I really love this stuff! I mean I only tried it out for a few days but now I really want to get the full size and see how it does because I really loved the sample size. I am never sure if eye cream does anything but when I tried this one I felt like it actually did.

52139802This dress from Target is the next thing that is on the list, I think this is really cute and the shape of this dress is a shape that I love. I also bought a romper recently that I think is this pattern as well, so clearly I am very favorable of this pattern. I really want to try on this dress and see how it goes.

CaptureThese Steven Madden Sandals are the next thing on the list, which means that this is the last thing on the list. I love these sandals so much because they look so metallic and I love that look! I think these sandals are very simple but that may also be a little bit of the reason why I’m really into them, they seem like something that could go with anything.

And those are all of the things that I am lusting after for the summer time, some a relvent to the summer and some are just things I’m really interested in at the moment, but either way this is still a wishlist. Because I am a shopaholic I’ll probably end up with most of the things from this list, but we will just have to wait and see what I think of a few of them.

What’s on your summer wishlist?

Spring 2017 Makeup Picks

I started out intending this to be a spring blush pics blog post, but it ended up turning into makeup picks for spring as a whole. Yesterday was the first day of Spring, on Sunday we had a bit of snow, so I’m not sure what is going on there but I am super excited about spring being here and I am ready for the heat, bring the warmth! I’m ready for it.

Along with the warm weather that I am lusting after comes spring colors, which I also very much enjoy due to the fact that I really enjoy pastel colors. That’s pretty much the overall theme of my choices for today’s post, pretty pastel shades of makeup and fun colors, so if you’re strictly a neutrals kind of makeup lover then this post probably isn’t for you. Let’s get into talking about my spring makeup picks!

I think the color theme with these products is very clearly pastel colored, which I quite enjoy, I didn’t realize that I had so many pastel colored things until recently but I also just recently picked most of these up but they still count.

Lorac Light Source Illuminating Highlighter in Lime Light. This looks so pretty and honestly, this is very pretty on the skin. It’s very soft and it’s not overly green, which I like, it’s a really fun product while also being really subtle.

Lorac Color Source Buildable Blush in Panorama. This is also light and pastel, it’s from the new spring line and I enjoy it. I will say this, I don’t love this blush as much as I thought that I might but I do like it and it’s very spring.

Wet ‘N Wild Color Icon Ombre Blush in In A Purple Haze. This blush is so pretty, it looks like spring in a blush and this is what inspired me to make this post. This blush is very subtle but it looks so pretty on the skin, it has a nice purple tint to it but nothing that over the top and I just really enjoy it.

NYX Prismatic Eyeshadow in Mermaid. This eyeshadow is gorgeous. I love it so much and kind of wish that I could wear it with all of my looks. It’s a really pretty soft aqua mint kind of color with a tiny bit of a gold shift to it, it’s really quite gorgeous. It’s also so soft and so pigmented, everything in the prismatic eyeshadow range is. I would for sure recommend any of these eyeshadows as I have 5 and they are all great.

NYX Pigment in Froyo. I really love this color, it’s so shimmery and softly purple, which I really like the look of. The only problem I might have with this is that the sifter doesn’t let out enough product so it takes a little bit of time to get enough product out to use.

Wet ‘N Wild Megaliner in A Case Of Blue. I love this eyeliner! The applicator is great and the pigmentation is fantastic, this color is so fun and I’m so sad that this one is limited edition and you cannot get it anymore but it’s so pretty and I’m so sad that I can’t get my hands on it anymore once this one runs out.

Tonymoly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar in Peach. I love how cute the packaging is on this one, it’s seriously so adorable. I like that this smells like fresh peaches and this also leaves a really soft sheer wash on the lips and it’s just really pretty, moisturizing and smells amazing.

Wet ‘N Wild Color Icon Lip Gloss in Jackie A La Mode. This lipgloss is very light, I don’t like the look of it on the lips by itself but I do enjoy it topped with other things as the formula is really great in this one, not too sticky while being very glossy, I just really enjoy it.

I remembered to include swatches, I know I often forget but this is something that I’m really trying to improve on, I’m just forgetful sometimes. Anyway, we’re going to start from top to bottom. Lorac Light Source Illuminating Highlighter in Lime Light, Lorac Color Source Buildable Blush in Panorama, Wet ‘N Wild Ombre Blush in In a Purple Haze, NYX Prismatic Eyeshadow Single in Mermaid, NYX Pigment in Froyo, Wet ‘N Wild Megaliner in A Case of Blue, Tonymoly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar in Peach and Wet ‘N Wild Color Icon Lipgloss in Jacke A La Mode.

Those are all of my spring makeup picks, I probably could have picked out a few more but I was trying to keep is down to the things that I really enjoy and think fit into the mold of spring best. All of these are very pastel and very pretty, I would recommend any single product on this list if you’re interested in it and can find them, some are limited edition but I believe most of them are out at this moment in time.

What are your picks for spring?
