It is finally time for my final road trip post, it has taken me two months to get out all of the posts and really be happy with the amount of road trips content that I have, so here we have it today, the end of the road and the trip home. So, lets’ dive in and talk about these three fun places.

I can’t believe that June is already over and it’s time to start writing monthly wrap up posts, but it is. It feels like just yesterday that I was writing this post for May. And I am also sure that this is when the months start flying by faster than I would like, however that is a problem for later as today is all about looking into the past a little bit and talking about the month of June.

Today is the last day of the month and my last road trip post going to the west coast, I will still be documenting our trip home but that will for sure be less exciting than our trip to. Anyway, if you want to catch up you can check out all of the road trip posts here. Now, let’s talk about California.

It is time for our third road trip update, we ended on Little Rock last time and today we are picking up on Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. A couple of places that I actually quite enjoyed, both will mention food a fair amount though but honestly, that shouldn’t be surprising at this point because the food was a big part of this trip. We pretty much ate our way across the country, which was fun. Anyway, let’s jump into talking about these two places.

Am I the only one that can’t believe that it’s already June? The year is flying by and before I know it, it’ll be Christmas and the year will be over, but we aren’t there quite yet. This year go a slow start but now the months are flying by, which is how it typically goes. Anyway, if you want to read all about April you can check it out here and then we can get into this post and into May. Continue reading “Why May 2018 Was Awesome + Goals”
Yes, another month has ended, I’m kind of glad because I am tired of rain and hoping that May brings some damn sunshine into my life. This year hasn’t started flying by yet, April was the first month that felt like a normal month this year though, it didn’t drag on and on forever. Anyway, since it’s the end of yet another month that means that it is time to get wrapping up this month like I do every month.

Yesterday I mentioned my road trip that’s coming up, which I think is something that I’ve mentioned a few times here and there but I’m counting this as me really announcing it and as my first post in what I am sure is going to be a long series that I will be doing multiple posts on over the course of the summer, mostly to not bombard you guys with my trip. Basically, my husband and I are going on our honeymoon, finally, and we have decided to take a road trip cross country that I am super jazzed about and hopefully will be equally excited about once it’s over. I just wanted to pop in today and do a kind of introduction and a bit of a wishlist of the places I really want to see.

Hello there on this lovely Saturday morning, or afternoon, or really just lovely day depending on what day you’re reading this. At least, I hope the day is lovely. Anyway, today I have decided to do something a little different and something that I saw a little ways back over on bookish wanderer, I saw this and just knew I had to do this because I really love music. This also has especially great timing because I am going on a really fun and long road trip in just a few days here, which I will probably talk more about in upcoming posts, so I won’t bore you with the details now. Let’s get into this playlist.

Time for some random lifestyle favorites, a post that I enjoy doing but really need to get better at. What I mean by that is I probably need to keep an actual list of things that could be favorites so I am better prepared when I sit down to write these, because so far I just sit down and hope for the best when it comes to remembering things that I’ve really been loving. Also, if you want to check out last months post you can click here. But anyway, let’s get into talking about this month.

Another month is over and I’m pretty glad to say that March is finally gone, March wasn’t the worst month this year but it was pretty damn close. This month seems to have gone on forever, it still cold and it keeps raining, which is just sad. I am excited for April and even more excited for May, one more month stands between me and going on a two-week road trip. But it’s not about that, instead, let’s get into wrapping up March.
