February 2020 Empties

I have big goals for empties this year and I am starting to think that they are too big because of this month, but at the same time, I keep reminding myself that it’s only February. I still may have set too big of a goal. Anyway, I do have a pretty decent amount of things to share with you guys, so let’s just jump into my trash pile.

Hask Watermelon Lemonade Leave-In Conditioner – I did not like this. I loved the way this smelled, however, this didn’t do anything for my hair and I ended up giving up on it about halfway through. This didn’t help with knots and didn’t really help with moisture either. Repurchase: No.

Lush Jersey Bounce Shampoo – I love this stuff, I love the way that it smells, I love what it does for my hair and I love the bit of salt in it that almost acts as a scrub. I am sad that this has been discontinued, this was a great shampoo and I am going to miss it. Repurchase: Yes.

Sephora Reusable Shadow Guards – I was curious about these and they really let me down, I only used these twice before deciding to pass these along. These did do what they were supposed to, they were still sticky and all of that I just hated them personally. They got dirty and were a little bit uncomfortable. These just weren’t for me. Repurchase: No.

Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Roller Ball – I have had this for far too long and this one is still pretty full, but I don’t love it like I once did so it’s time for this one to go. Repurchase: No.

Atelier Pacific Lime Cologne Sample – This is a super tiny sample that you get with Sephora orders but I was still super excited to try this out, I really like this brand and this scent sounded right up my alley. I did not love this, this was almost too masculine for me and I just didn’t like the way it smelled on my skin. Repurchase: No.

Drunk Elephant Beste Face Wash – I don’t mind this stuff but it’s not my favorite, I really don’t think it’s worth the price tag seeing as there are face washes that I like far more for much cheaper. This one is fine though. Repurchase: No.

Philosophy Purity Hydra Bounce Eye Gel – I liked this fine, this was not my favorite eye product that I have ever used but it was alright and I wouldn’t be mad if I got another sample of this. Repurchase: Probably not.

Skin Fix Black Cherry Pie Lip Repair Balm – I love these, they are a little bit greasy compared to some other lip balms, but I still really like these. This left my lips feeling moisturized, it smells really good and it comes in a super handy tube. Repurchase: Yes, probably.

Andalou Pumpkin Honey Glycolic Mask – I just did a face mask Friday on this mask and I am all finished with this one. I liked this one but the scent really got to me and I’m not sure that I would pick it up again because the scent is just so overwhelming. Repurchase: Probably not.

Peach Slices Acne Spot Dots – I have used a handful of these acne spots at this point and I think these have been my least favorite, I don’t think that these work super great. Repurchase: No.

Milk Makeup Cooling Water Stick – This is a mini that I got in a set and I’m not really sure what it did for my skin, I didn’t really notice any changes and it seems kind of pointless to me. It feels kind of greasy in the application as well. Repurchase: Nope.

Not Your Mothers Matcha Green Tea & Wild Apple Blossom Hair Mask – I have tried this before but at some point, I purchased too many of these sample packets of hair masks, so I am working my way through them slowly. I liked this one but I’m not sure that I loved this one. Repurchase: Maybe.

Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Oil Sample – This is a hard one because like all other Drunk Elephant products, this one is expensive and I am not sure that it is worth it. I am trying out a couple of other oils before I decided to succumb to purchasing this one. Repurchase: Maybe.

Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Fromboos Serum Sample – I love this stuff, I’m sure I’ve said that too many times at this point but I just think it’s really good and does really great things for my skin. This leaves my skin feeling soft and looking great. Repurchase: Yes, already had.

Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream – I don’t know why I didn’t use this, it was like I forgot that I had it or was trying to focus on other things, and this went bad. This is probably my favorite eye cream that I have ever tried. Repurchase: Yes, I would.

And that is everything that I used up this past month, a shorter list than I would like but it is what it is. I did notice that I once again have a bunch of stuff that I didn’t love, I don’t know what that’s about but I just haven’t been enjoying the things that I’ve finished up recently.

Have you guys used up anything fun recently?
