February 2020: Thrifted Lookbook

This girl loves to thrift, which I think is something that I talk about here and there but I really love thrift shopping, it’s just so exciting to find gems for such a bargain. I also love thrift shopping online through sites like thredup, mercari, and even Etsy. Because of that, I wanted to share some full thrifted looks with you guys, so let’s dive in and check out some springy kind of looks.

This feels like a very typical casual office outfit for me and I’m really happy with how it all looks. These coral flats are a really fun pop of color that matches the pop of coral in my button-up tank that I am wearing. These rolled-up jeans are some of my go to’s during the warmer months and this gray cardigan is a really great staple to my wardrobe.

I’m pretty much super casual at all times, but I don’t have to dress up for work so I don’t really. These books are such a staple in my wardrobe and are a size too big for me, but they don’t feel that large and I make them work so you should always try on things outside of your usual size at thrift shops. These jeans are a great addition to my wardrobe, I love the fringe on the cardigan and the colors, I also really love the embroidery on this tee shirt.

My final outfit is a little bit more dressed up but nothing too much. Also, the necklace is not thrifted because I find that I have such a hard time finding jewelry that I like at the thrift shop but this outfit needed a little something. I don’t often look at black at the thrift store because I find it fades so much, but this long sleeve shirt was so soft and looked new that I had to have it. I think this skirt is really simple but also really fun and kind of a statement. And I was so excited when I saw these shoes, I had been looking for a pair of oxfords and these are perfect, they are super comfy too.

These outfits are from various thrift stores and various times, but I just wanted to show that you can make really fun and cute outfits with only things from the thrift shop. I’m so happy to see that thrift shopping is really starting to become more mainstream and less looked down upon because I have thrifted ever since I was a little girl and I think it’s so fun and honestly, it’s good for the planet and my wallet because there are so many gently used things there that are still in great shape.

What do you guys think about thrifting? Tell me about all of your finds down below.
