Try It Tuesday: WhippedUpWonderful

I thnk by now it’s pretty clear that I love Etsy, I just love supporting smaller business and a handmade item, plus the variety of things you can find is exciting. I just really like it and will continue to write posts about it. Today is all about trying out a product from an Etsy shop like I do every month, so let’s not waste any more time and just dive right in.

This month I will be talking all about the shop WhippedUpWonderful, which is a shop that sells a bunch of different bath supplies which is right up my alley.

The theming of the products is super adorable and very well done if you ask me, basically everything is sweets related and that is something that I can get behind. The packaging on all of these is very simple but I really like the overall look of it, everything came wrapped very nicely and the box was very secure, so nothing broke in transit. I was really impressed with my first impression of this box. Now, let’s talk about the products I picked up a little more in detail.

The first thing that I picked up was a trio of bath rock candy in various scents, this one being lemon. I like the idea of this, I think the stick she chose to use was a great choice since it’s the stick that I associate with rock candy, I do wish there were a few more salts on this to make it look a little more like what it’s supposed to.

I really loved the scent of this, it was bright and cheerful like you would expect a lemon scent to be but it was also really soft and not overwhelming, it didn’t smell like cleaner either which I find that lemon scents sometimes have. I am very happy with the scent of this one.

This one didn’t create a whole lot of bubbles, it did make some but it was very minimal, it also tinted the water very light yellow. This was very moisturizing though, when I got out of the bath it was like I had already applied lotion. This was a moisturizing and relaxing product.

Up next is the Watermelon Bubble Bath Taffy. I got a six-pack of these and they were bigger than I expected them to be, I would say I would probably use two per bath after having used just one but you could easily get away with using just one of these bath taffys.

I love the scent of this one, watermelon is not a scent that I see often in bath products and I find that it’s often not one that’s done well, so this one was really impressive to me and I am very happy about this. This doesn’t smell like fresh watermelon to me, but it smells like a really tasty piece of watermelon candy, it’s sweet and not overpowering. If you enjoy sweeter scents then you would probably like this one.

This one created a pretty normal amount of bubbles, just what you would expect from the size of it. I only used one because I wasn’t sure which way it would go and I wasn’t feeling like having an overwhelming amount of bubbles in this bath. This one left my skin feeling a little bit moisturized, but it was mostly good for scent and bubbles.

And now for my final product, which are these Unicorn Bath Marshmallows. These were probably the product that I was most interested in and also most confused by, if I had read a little more I probably would have known more what to expect. I was thinking that these were going to be soft, but they aren’t and they are more like a bath melt than they are anything else. They did produce a little bit of bubble as well.

These were super moisturizing, almost too moisturizing if you ask me, I didn’t expect them to be as oily as they were but I guess these would be nice if you have really dry skin or in the winter season when skin tends to get drier.

The last thing that I want to go over with these ones is the scent of them, these are supposed to be kind of fruity and spicy from what I can tell, I’m not sure that I would describe them as anything more than bright and fruity. I didn’t mind it one bit, but if you are looking for something with more of a tart and spicy kind of scent this one is not that.

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and everything that I picked up. Everything smelled really great and did what it was supposed to do, plus everything was really cute and I could see myself purchasing from this shop again for sure.
