I am here to take another bath, I’m willing to bite the bullet and take all these baths to be able to write these reviews for you guys. But really, I have another bath bomb review and I have a few more up my sleeve before the season is over, so keep an eye out for those. For today let’s just dive in and talk about this festive bath bomb.
This is the Not So Secret Santa Bath Bomb from Lush, this one will run you $5.95 and is vegan. This little guy is super cute but also packed full of great ingredients such as Sicilian Lemon Oil, Lemon Myrtle Oil, and Litsea Cubeba Oil. So this one’s featured ingredient list sounds a little bit shorter than I am used to, but it’s still a good mix and like you guys probably know by now, this one does tend to lean a little bit in the citrus side of things, but that’s how I like it.
Let’s just dive into the scent of this little guy, this one does have some citrus notes to it but it’s not overwhelming. I would say that as a whole this bath bomb is a little bit on the lighter side of things than I had expected it to be, but you can for sure still smell it in the water. This is a sweet citrus scent as well, which I really like, I like a bit of sweetness to my scents and this one is great. This one smells more lemony to me than any other citrus and is just a really nice scented bath bomb.
Now let’s take a step back and talk about the appearance of this bath bomb when it is dry I think it’s cute but not much to look at. The outer shell is really boring to look at, it’s just white and I personally find that not so exciting. This bath bomb also has a paper Santa in the middle and I think that is a really cute addition to this bath bomb, it kind of looks like Santa is rolled into a giant snowball and as horrible as it might sound, it’s actually really cute.
Once this hits the water and fizzes out for a few moments it reveals that the inside is a mix of red and white, which feel very festive and almost makes me wish that this bath bomb has more of a minty scent to it. This one is a pretty quick fizzer and once it has completely fizzed away in the water it leaves the water this really pretty light pastel milky kind of pink, as you can see in the photo above. I really like the look of it. I don’t think this one felt particularly moisturizing or luxurious, it was nice and average but nothing really out there.
I am happy with this bath bomb and liked it, I don’t think this is one that I would pick up again on my own but if one were gifted to me I would happily use it and enjoy it. This one is nice but it’s not one of the stars this year if you ask me.
