I found out as I was applying this that this is not a mask but instead a kind of scrub of sorts, but I decided to keep it in here because I loved this more than I ever thought I would and had to share it with you guys, so let’s get into talking about this fun product.
This is the Jelly Glow Peel from Bliss, this can be picked up a lot of places but I got mine from Target. This one will run you $12.00 and comes with a total of 4oz of product, which comes out to $3.00 per ounce which I think is a really good price.
This product claims to gently exfoliate and roll away dry, flaky skin and dirt. That sounds pretty good to me, this is supposed to be good for dry and sensitive skin, which I have dry skin in places and more so over the winter season, though I think everyone can use a good exfoliation here and there.
Before we get into talking about the formula I want to take a moment to talk about the packaging like I always do, the packaging on this is fairly simple and straightforward but I really like that. I like that this comes in a squeezy tube, it makes for super easy use and I like that it’s pink because it’s just really cute.
Now let’s get into chatting about the formula, let’s start with the scent. I don’t really notice much of a scent personally, so if there is one then I think it’s really faint because I am not detecting it at all.
I think that this feels really nice on the skin, it’s kind of cooling and it is really gentle, I find that you can see it start to bead up and get slightly larger as it buffs away skin and clears dirt. It’s really interesting and it works right away. I think this does leave my skin a little bit red after use but it’s only for a little bit and I feel like that is pretty normal when it comes to exfoliation. This has immediate results, or at least I noticed results using this product right away. This one left my skin feeling super soft, baby soft, and I loved that.
Overall, I do really like this product, I like it a lot more than I thought I would and I for sure see myself finishing this one up. If you are looking for a gentle exfoliant then this one might be for you.
