September 2019 Empties

I am feeling good about this last month’s empties, I have really gone through a bunch of stuff and I am always feeling good knowing that I am actually using products up and finishing things. Let’s not waste any more time and just get into talking about all of the things I have used up.

Bath & Bodyworks Foaming Hand Soap in Beautiful Day – This would make a fantastic spring kind of scent if you ask me, it’s a bit sweet but also rather fresh and I quite like it. Repurchase: I could see myself picking it up again at some point.

Up & Up Hand Soap – This is what I clean my brushes with and have cleaned them with for a while now, it’s something I use up regularly and am really happy with the results of. Repurchase: Yes, I already have.

Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri Wheat Leave-In Conditioner – This is a well-loved product by me and one that I go through every couple of months, I do love this stuff and think it’s a great product. This one is a staple for sure. Repurchase: I am sure that I will but right now I am using a different product for the first time in a long time.

Sun Bum Shampoo and Conditioner Minis – I used these up rather quickly and honestly, the scent bothered me more than anything, I am very picky about coconut scents and this was not one that I enjoyed. I also found that these didn’t do much for my hair so I am not too upset about letting these go. Repurchase: No.

Soap & Glory Breakfast Scrub – The scent of this product is almost reason enough to pick this one up, it smells like straight-up maple syrup and I love it because it’s not too overbearing still. I’m not the biggest fan of sugar scrubs though, mostly because they are messy. Repurchase: I might.

Lush Yuzu & Cocoa Shower Jelly – This is one of my all-time favorite scent families from Lush, it seriously smells amazing, however, I think it smelled really odd in this form and was not a big fan of the scent. I did finish it up little by little but it just wasn’t my favorite. Repurchase: No.

Meme Box Disco Kitten Mini Mask – I am not the biggest fan of this I have realized, I thought I really liked it but by the time I finished this one I was not up for anymore. Repurchase: No.

e.l.f. Marsh-Mellow Soothing Mini Mask – I was busting out the mini masks this past month and finishing them off, I liked this one alright but it wasn’t my favorite, I didn’t find that it did a whole lot for my skin. Repurchase: No.

e.l.f. Hydrating Gel Mask – This one was alright, it’s nothing to jump up and down about but it’s not bad either, it does leave my skin feeling a little bit hydrated however nothing that a little bit of moisturizer couldn’t do. Repurchase: No.

e.l.f. Gentle Peeling Exfoliant – This one isn’t really a mask technically but I don’t mind that, I did not really like this one either and at this point, I am starting to think that I just don’t like e.l.f. skincare. Repurchase: No.

Patchology Happy Place Eye Gels – These were floral scented and just not my thing, I don’t think they were overwhelming they just weren’t a scent for me. Repurchase: No.

Patchology Down Time Eye Gels – I did like these ones, I found the scent that they gave off to be really relaxing while also not being overwhelming at all. I thought this one gave me a nice experience though it didn’t do a whole lot for my skin. Repurchase: Maybe.

Patchology Perk Up Eye Gels – These are hands down my favorite of the three, like the other two they are gels and I love the feeling, but I also really love the light peppy scent of these ones. I don’t find that they do a ton for my under eyes but I still love them. Repurchase: I would.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray Mini – This one was super easy to go through, this is my all-time favorite setting spray for really helping prolong the wear of my makeup, it has a pretty good mist and overall is a nice spray. Repurchase: I do already have a full size.

Freeman Cosmic Holographic Rose Quartz Mask – I liked this one fine though I don’t really know if it did all that much for my skin, it did leave it feeling ultra-smooth but not for very long and that was kind of disappointing. Also, I wouldn’t consider this one holographic as it is really light on the skin. Repurchase: No.

Physician’s Formula Butter Perfume – This was one that I really liked in the first quarter of the bottler but the more I used it the more I started to hate it, I guess I’m just not much of a coconut scent kind of girl. Repurchase: No.

Drunk Elephant C Tango Eye Cream – I am mixed on this one, I don’t think it’s as moisturizing as I would like personally but I don’t think it’s a bad product. However I would never pay full price for this one, I just don’t think it’s worth that. This is an alright product. Repurchase: Probably not.

Stila Smudge Stick in Cobalt – I have had this one for too long and I was almost finished with it so I decided to call it quits with this one. This is a fantastic formula, it really lasts all day with no irritation. I do think this is a fun color as well, however, the packaging on these tends to break rather easily and it’s very frustrating. Repurchase: I might.

Bliss Makeup Melt Wipes – I am trying to not use so many single-use products so this first thing to go was makeup wipes, these are my last pack and while I do like these, I think there are better options of things out there to use. Also, these do irritate my eyes sometimes. Repurchase: Probably not.

Lush American Cream Shower Gel – I adored this scent of this, it’s so soft and sweet, it really reminded me of a milkshake which I liked. I also adored the color of this and how moisturizing it was, the only irritating part was that it separated a fair amount but it was easy to mix back up. Repurchase: Yes, I would.

Lancome Shaker in Melli Melon – This was an impulse purchase that I just loved, this smells amazing and gives the lips a nice light tint while also feeling very hydrating. Repurchase: I would, just not yet as I want to get through a few other products at least.

Buxom Full-On Lip Cream Mini in Dolly – This one is a shade that I love, I actually liked this color better than white Russian and I am glad that I already own a full size of this one because it is such a fantastic lip gloss formula. Repurchase: I already have.

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation in Snow – I am finally done with this one and have probably had it for too long, however, I was determined to use it up completely. I think this one has a fantastic finish and coverage on the skin while not feeling like a whole lot on the skin. Repurchase: Yes, I would after I finish up a couple of the foundations that I already own.

And those are all of the things that I have finished this past month, I think I have done a really good job even if it is all mostly skincare stuff that I find fairly easy to go through. Either way, I am making room in my collection and I think that is always a good thing.

What are some products that you have finished this month?
