Hello there, on this Sunday afternoon I thought I would take a moment to breathe and relax, which is what I like to try and do on my Sunday afternoons. So, let’s just slip-on into a bath and talk about a fun bath bomb this week.
Today we will be focused on the Blue Skies & Fluffy White Cloud bath bomb from Lush. This one will run you $7.45, comes in at a total weight of 6.7oz and is vegan like most Lush products are at this point.
This bath bomb features lots of great ingredients such as patchouli oil, frankincense resinoid and cinnamon leaf oil to name just a few in this bath bomb. I think it’s a nice mix of ingredients and is something different than what I usually go for at Lush.
Since this bath bomb is a little bit different than what I usually go for let’s shake things up a little bit and talk about the scent of this product. This product is very warm and spicy, which I actually really love though my husband hates so I don’t use this scent very often, but when they released it in bath bomb form I knew I had to at least try it and it smells exactly like the bubble bar. This bubble bar is very warm and spicy in terms of scent, but it also has an earthiness to it that I really enjoy. This bath bomb has a great fragrance and if you are looking for something a little different then I would suggest giving this one a sniff.
Now, let’s take a minute to talk about the appearance of this bath bomb. This one is really cute in a kind of simple way I think, it’s round but it almost looks like a berry to me and I like that. I also love the mix of blue and white, it makes a lot of sense with this one.
Once you toss this into the water and it starts to fizz away there are no surprises, it’s just swirls of blue and white, it’s really simple but I think it’s actually really pretty and adds a little bit to the relaxation of this bath bomb. The other thing about this is it leaves your bath water this milky kind of sky blue shade that I adore, seriously, I don’t know what it is but milky look bath bombs are my favorite because they are always so pretty in the water once it’s fizzled out completely.
This left my skin feeling nice and soft, though nothing out of the normal, this also lingered on my skin a fair amount, which I like I mentioned above my husband is not the biggest fan of. So, if you like this scent then that is a huge bonus I would think.
Overall I do really like this bath bomb and could see myself picking it up from time to time, it’s really warm and spicy, it also is stunning in the water so I am a pretty big fan of that.
