I try to switch up these posts every now and again and while I think reviewing cosmetics are easier than a lot of other products on Etsy, I also want to talk about other things and share my thoughts on the quality and such, so today I am focusing on a pair of earrings. I think we should just jump head first into this one.
I am shaking it up a bit and this months Try it Tuesday is all about a pair of earrings from the Etsy store JillMakes.
I want to start off by talking about how these came to me and the packaging. These were packaged really well for being shipped and the box that they came in is really cute, it’s nothing over the top or that out there but it seems very branded and I like that. The box itself is just your typical jewelry box but I’m not bothered by that.
The pair that I just had to have are the clear acrylic confetti earrings, these will run you $35.00 and they come in various different shapes. I personally picked up a pair of the cylinder-shaped ones, I just liked the look of them better than the others.
These earrings are fairly simple, they are clear acrylic cylinders with a bright multicolored pattern of confetti on them, they are attached to a round gold stud base with little gold hoops. Very simple and straightforward, as you can probably see. I think these are very fun and add a nice element of color to any outfit that I would pair them with, almost subtle but for earrings, I think they are fairly bold.
The acrylic itself is very thick and feels very sturdy, there doesn’t really feel like much of a chance of these ones breaking on me. I haven’t had these very long so I can’t really say how sturdy they really are as they haven’t stood the test of time yet, however, these do seem to be very well made and put together, these do not seem like they will be breaking anytime soon. My only kind of complaint about these are that the backs that go with these aren’t fantastic, they kind of stick a lot and are a pain to pull off, but I could easily replace the backing on these. So, overall I am really happy with these earrings and could see myself picking up another set in the future.
