Review: Lush Cosmetics Calavera Bath Bomb

This is a bath bomb that I have tried before but I am not sure that I have talked about it here, I do remember not liking it because it was boring in the water and it had like paper streamer type things that were very confusing to me, so this was was a surprise but I don’t want to get too much into that now, instead let’s just start this review off.

This one is all about the Calavera bath bomb, this one will run you $7.95 and is vegan. I was kind of excited about this one even though I don’t have the fondest of memories of it the first time but I was excited because this is in one of my favorite scent families from Lush, which is Calacas. I am so happy that they made some changes from what I remember because this one is pretty great now and something that I can for sure see myself picking up again because it’s great.

This bath bomb features a bunch of great ingredients such as lime oil, neroli oil, and marigold petals to name just a few of the things that are featured in this bath bomb.

Let’s start like I typically do and talk about the appearance of this bath bomb for a minute. The outer appearance isn’t super exciting but it is pretty fun and lets you know there is probably something fun hiding in the middle of this one. This one is simply white with random streaks of color throughout the exterior.

Once this one is dropped in the water is really fun and pretty, it’s fairly simple as it mostly two different colors but I like how nicely the green and the white swirl together. It is really beautiful and I really love it.

Once this one has dissolved completely into the water it leaves the water this really bright, almost neon green kind of color that I really love the look of, I think it’s a fun color and a pretty fun bath bomb. Also, I think I forgot to mention that this one does have slight floaters in it but nowhere near as bad as I remembered, so I didn’t really mind but be aware if you really hate any kind of things floating in your bathwater.

The scent of this is really fantastic and one that smells familiar but I can never quite put my finger on. This one is very citrusy and fresh, a lot of people think it smells like gummy bears but it really reminds me of something else that I can’t figure out.

The scent of this is very powerful and bright, it would be a fantastic bath for the morning to get you going because it is so uplifting and bright. The scent of this one does linger on the skin and I love that.

This is possibly one of my favorite bath bombs that I have ever tried, mostly because it has one of my favorite scents from Lush and I think the bright green is really fun, so I would for sure pick another one of these up and I would recommend you guys give this a sniff as well.
