I’m sure it hasn’t been that long but for some reason, it feels like it has been ages since I have sat down to write one of that but I know it hasn’t been that long. July feels like it is flying by but at the same time it feels like it has been a lifetime since it started, time a very funny thing that way. Anyway, let’s not talk about that but instead lets get into talking about this bath bomb.
This is the Bom Perignon bath bomb from Lush Cosmetics, this one will run you $5.45 and is vegan, like most Lush products are at this point.
This little one is shaped like a bottle, it is kind of cute but also really boring and simple. I was expecting this to be a color but mine for sure looks white, I’m not sure why that is but I can say that there is for sure no hint of orange to this one.
I’m going to be completely honest and say that this one is one of the worst looking bath bombs in the water, it is just so boring and unexciting. This one just fizzes out and isn’t anything special at all, it’s just boring.
However, I must say that the scent of this one really makes up for the lackluster appearance of this bath bomb as a whole. The smell of this one is very potent when it hits the water and is kind of in your face, but not in a bad way if you ask me.
This smells like straight up fresh citrus, kind like you cut into a grapefruit and gave it a good sniff which I really loved. This would be a great bath bomb to toss into a bath in the morning and perk you right up.
While the scent is very strong at first I do think it fades away and leaves you slowly, but that is pretty typical for most bath bombs I think. The scent doesn’t really linger on the skin though and that is disappointing to me.
I do like this bath bomb but it is not my favorite, while I love the scent I just don’t love the look of it in the water at all and I don’t think that it leaves me feeling particularly soft and moisturized like lots of other bombs do. I would love this scent more in a different kind of product, but in bath bomb form it might not be the best. I wouldn’t be mad if someone gifted me one of these but I don’t think I would go out of my way to order another one of these.
What are your thoughts on this bath bomb?
