First Impression Friday: Jeffree Star Mint Condition

I have pulled this highlighter out of my collection, it has been unused by me and I thought that it was about time that I gave it a whirl. I wasn’t sure about doing a full review on this product so instead, I thought that it would be fun to post a first impressions on this one, so let’s see how I liked this.

This is the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Skin Frost in the shade Mint Condition.  This will run you $29.00 and comes with 0.53oz of product, which comes to about $54.72 per ounce of product. I think that’s actually a really great price, this is a huge highlighter and comes with a ton of product, this one will for sure last you a good while I would think. I am a little bit intimidated just looking at this highlighter because it is giant.

Now, let’s talk packaging for a minute. This packaging feels very on brand for Jeffree Star and I like it. I love how bright this pink is and I love how simple the packaging itself is, there are no frills and it doesn’t feel like there is a bunch of unused packaging.

I also really like the Jeffree Star log that is embossed into the powder itself, I think it’s very fun and a really simple way to really brand the product. I’m not sure what it is but I always love when there is something pressed into products, I just think it is so interesting and such a good way to really brand something subtly.

Let’s talk about the product now, this is not the first Skin Frost I have ever tried but it is the first time that I have tried this one and the first time that I have tried a green highlighter, so I wasn’t completely sure what to expect. This looks very minty and pretty in the pan and then swatched it looks equally as pigmented, so I was a little bit nervous as I wasn’t completely sure that I wanted really heavily green highlighted skin. I am happy to say that this does sheer out and blend out really well, but it still gives a fun green flash that I really like without being too much.

So, my first impression of this product is good, I like it and think that it is very easy to work with. If you are looking for something that is super out there, this one might not be for you but if you are looking for something that is slightly different and not your typical highlighter then you would probably like this one. This will also last forever.
