May 2019 Favorites + Face

It’s that time again where I talk about all of the products that I have been loving during the previous month, this month I have a pretty fair amount to share and once again I do have a lot of skincare to share with you guys, so let’s just dive in and find out what I have been loving as of recently.

Urban Decay Optical Illusion Primer – This is something that I have brought out from the depths of my primer drawer and started using again, I actually really enjoy this prime and find that it really does prolong the wear of my foundation and helps things stick to it better, which is always nice if you ask me.

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Finishing Powder – This has been the powder that I have been reaching for as of late, it’s a very fine powder and almost doesn’t look like I’m wearing powder, it’s just a fantastic setting powder that I will continue to use.

Benefit Roller Eyeliner – This is a repeat but I have been loving this, this is the only eyeliner I grab for when I want black felt tip, I’m not sure what has happened but I know I never expected to love this product as much as I do. It has a very fine tip and is a bit on the stiff side of things, however, I find it super easy to work with.

Colourpop Swerve Gel Eyeliner – I know, I said that if I am going for black eyeliner than I would go for the one above, which is true in terms of felt tip pens, however, this is a gel pot liner and I am in love with it. This is seriously black, very easy to use with the right brush as it is super creamy, but this also doesn’t move the slightest bit and it’s really impressive.

Benefit Punch Pop! in Pink-Berry – This is such a pretty and simple lip gloss and it goes with every look so flawlessly, I also really like the formula. I’m not sure that you can still purchase this shade though and that makes me sad.

Tarte Glide & Go Buttery Lipstick in Melon Punch – This shade is out of my usual picks, however, because it is a little bit more on the sheer side of things I find that I have no trouble with it and really love how bright and fun this is, I can for sure see myself using this all summer long.

Pixi Glow Tonic – This is back in my life and boy have I missed it, this toner is hands down my favorite and after trying out a couple other ones for a minute, I bought this back and realized how much I really enjoyed it and missed it, so this is a favorite for May with no questions asked.

Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream – I have been using this more regularly, however, it is still a step that I often forget, and because of more frequent use, I wanted to share how much I have been loving this. This is a little bit greasy and does take a moment to really soak into the skin, but I find it super hydrating and a little bit goes a long way which makes this far more affordable than I ever thought it would be.

Physicians Formula Coconut Milk Eye Makeup Remover – I talked about this last month but I am still loving it this month and I can’t help but sing it’s praise just a little bit more. This is so gentle but really get everything off of my eyes, it’s really amazing and a product that I will continue buying and hope that they make into a larger size.

Drunk Elephant Virginia Marula Oil – I have been using this a lot as of recently because of my next favorite. This is a really thick and moisturizing face oil, it has a very light smell to it and really sinks into the skin after a little while. I do find that it sits on the face and feels a little bit greasy for a little bit, but it doesn’t really bother me as it is not that bad.

Drunk Elephant Sukari Baby Facial – I was kind of afraid of this at first because I was sure that I was going to somehow burn my skin off, but now that I have been using it more frequently I am a big fan. This really leaves my skin feeling and looking super smooth, so I am a big fan.

This eye look is so simple but honestly, it is one of my favorites that I have done in a while. I adore the simpleness of it and the shade, I am just really happy with how it turned out.

And those are all of the things that I have been really enjoying and loving using, nothing too exciting but all things that I really have been enjoying using.

What are some of your favorites this month?
