Disney Inspired: Ursula from The Little Mermaid

traveling in london (3)

I know I say this every month and about far too many posts, but I really love doing these posts and writing these posts, they are always so fun and they mix two of my favorite things; Disney and makeup. This month I am continuing with the theme of villains, which I’m not sure how long I am going to keep up because of the number of villains, but for now, that is what we are doing. So, let’s dive into this makeup look.

These are the two photos that I have used for inspiration this month, these two are very basic and very close up on her face which is what I wanted to do. I wanted to use the colors of her face and makeup to create a much more wearable day time look, which pretty much means a lot of purple, blue and red as you will see in the look below.

I was just playing around a little bit and this is the look that I have settled on for Ursula, this one is not my most obvious of looks but I quite like it and I think it is very much wearable, which is the goal. As long as you think bright colors are wearable like I do, otherwise this may be less wearable than I think. Overall though, I am really happy with how this turned out, I think it’s interesting without being too overdone and it also made it so I found a really nice and wearable red lip that isn’t obnoxious.

So, this is a look that I am really happy with and think is kind of subtle but also really interesting and pretty.

What character should I do next month?
