Project Pan 2019 Introduction

project pan 2019 (2)

I am super excited to be starting a new project pan for this year, I am ready and excited. You would think that I would be saying that I learned so much last yet and honestly, I don’t think that I did, especially because I have a lot of full-sized products that have been barely touched but I like a challenge. So, I will be doing a project pan roulette just like last year, which you can see the list I used here, and I picked out nineteen for this year and it’s kind of all over the place. So, let’s jump on in and see all of the things that I have picked out for this project.

1. is 51. Something Orange: Etude House Dear Darling Water Tint

I am not sure what is this is exactly as I ordered it a while ago and I don’t believe there is a name on it, so it’s the orange one that comes in this shape of a bottle. Something orange was really hard for me to come up but I thought this would be a great one, though probably challenging as well because it is really thin and there is a lot of it, but that also might work in my favor because it will be really easy to apply or reapply.

Starting Amount: 100%

2. is 40. Sample Product: Buxom Full On Lip Cream in Dolly

I am pretty sure this is the one that was in my last project so I figured I would to roll it over into this project, especially because I needed a sample sized product. I’m hoping this is pretty easy to get through.

Starting Amount: 90%

3. is 61. Something Brown: Colourpop Brow Pencil in Dope Taupe

I debated for a while what kind of brown product to pick and I have settled on a brow pencil, so I will be trying to make my way through this brow pencil, which means you will probably see my use this too many times.

Starting Amount: 100%

4. is 63. Something Glittery: Mac Kitchmas Pigment

This was in last years project but I didn’t do well with using this one up, so I figured I would bring this one back and hopefully use it up. If I don’t finish it up this year I think I will be passing this one along, so let’s try this one out and see how it goes.

Starting Amount: 95%

5. is 33. Chapstick/Lip Balm: First Aid Beauty Lip Therapy

I have too many chapsticks and lip balms so this one was really hard to pick out, so in the end, I just picked one at random and this is the one that I settled on. This will for sure be one of the easier ones that I do.

Starting Amount: 95%

6. is 83. A Highlighter: Nars Eyeshadow in Andromeda

I am obsessed with this and I know this is technically not a highlighter but I’m cheating a little bit, I only use this as a highlighter and I am using it almost everytime I use a highlighter so I am thinking this one will be pretty easy to get through.

Starting Amount: 95%

7. is 80. Something Expensive: CoverFx Perfect Setting Powder

I struggled with expensive because I don’t think I own anything that is too expensive, so I just went with something in my slightly more expensive category and came out with this powder. This will be my setting powder until I finish it and I am pretty confident that I will easily finish this up this year.

Starting Amount: 90%

8. is 37. A Maybelline Item: Maybelline Gigi Hadid Lipstick in McCall

This was such a random pick but as I was looking through for Maybelline I realized that I really don’t have a lot of Maybelline products that aren’t either lipsticks or eyeshadow, so that is how I settled on this one. Not sure how I am going to do with a full sized lipstick but I am hoping to do better than last year.

Starting Amount:  100%

9. is 11. Something Hyped on Youtube: Anastasia Modern Renaissance

I knew I would pick an eyeshadow palette and instead of adding an additional one like last year, I decided to include it and pick out one of the most hyped eyeshadow palettes on the whole of youtube, the Modern Renaissance. I love this palette and it has seen some of that love, so I think this one won’t be too terribly difficult.

Starting Amount: 75%

10. is 239. Something Turquoise: Benefit Porefessional Primer

I think this packaging falls somewhere between mint and turquoise, so I am counting it. This is my favorite primer and I think this should be fairly easy to use if I focus on it.

Starting Amount: 100%

11. is 35. Non-Black Eyeliner: Too Faced Sketch Marker in Emerald

This is a stunning shade of dark green that almost looks black when applied over most eyeshadow but if you look closely it is a really lovely dark green shade that I think will be interesting.

Starting Amount: 90%

12. is 19. Matte Lip Product: Beauty Bakerie Cake Pop Lippie in Skinny Dip

This is a really new product to me but I really like this shade and it is a mini size, plus it is matte so it checks all of the boxes for me. I have such bittersweet feelings about these lipsticks because they are so expensive but I am very excited to wear this one more.

Starting Amount: 100%

13. is 41. Something You Haven’t Used in A Year: Wet ‘N Wild Eyeliner in A Case of Blue

This is something that I have seriously loved for a while but haven’t picked up in far too long, so I am hoping to create some fun and exciting looks with this eyeliner in the coming months.

Starting Amount: 50%

14. is 28. Blush: Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Baby Love

This is my all time favorite blush so I had mixed feelings on using it up, I still want to hoard things because they are my favorite but at the same time I know I should use them up before they go bad. So, I am picking this as my blush because it seems like a really easy product to use up as it goes with everything. Here is to hoping that I can actually use up a blush in a year.

Starting Amount: 80%

15. is 118. Something From Lime Crime: Lime Crime Plushie in Dahlia

I love this formula, it is one of my favorites ever and this color seems like a really fantastic shade to use up easily, so I am hoping that it works out for me, we will see though.

Starting Amount: 100%

16. is 125. A Cult Classic: Anastasia Liquid Lipstick in Stripped

These liquid lipsticks are almost like the original liquid lipstick, or at least that’s how it feels because I think these were the first that everyone was talking about when the liquid lipstick trend started. So, I am counting this as a cult classic and am excited to try this out more.

Starting Amount: 100%

17. is 123. A Cream Product: Glossier Cloud Paint in Puff

This is probably a terrible choice to make but I am always biting off more than I can chew, but I’m doing it anyway. This is going to be tough but I do think I can make it through this one.

Starting Amount: 80%

18. is 144. Liquid Eyeshadow: Essence Metal Shock Liquid Eyeshadow in Moon Dust

This is another one that I think is going to be hard and probably impossible, but I figured I would still throw it in the mix and see how it went, so I am just going to have to wait and see how this goes and play with some fun silver eyeshadow.

Starting Amount: 100%

19. is 23. Item That Was A Gift: Tarte Tartelette in Bloom Palette

Yes, I am full of terrible ideas and this is for sure another one because two eyeshadow palettes aren’t going to happen, but I am going to give it my best. This was also a gift from someone that I am no longer friends with, so I think it’ll be nice to get rid of this palette if I can use it up, or at least use up enough.

Starting Amount: 80%

And those are all of my picks for my project pan this year, far too many full-sized and barely touched products but I wanna go big this year, so here is to hoping that I can at least make my way through a few things this year. This one is going to be tough but I think I’ve got this one. So, here’s to hoping I have made a dent when I check back in March on this project.

Are you doing any sort of project pan this year?
