December 2018 Empties

Why December 2018 Was Awesome (2)

Last month I crushed it with a total twenty-six products and this month I have dropped the ball a little bit and have used half of that up, which comes out to a total of thirteen products. That’s not very many if you ask me, and I’m kind of disappointed, I don’t know what happened. I am just going to blame it on the fact that December felt like a really off month for me. Anyway, let’s not worry about that and instead talk about the products that I have used up.

December 2018 Empties (1)

Brite Mermaid Masque – I think I have one more of these and then it’s time to either repurchase or pick out a new hair mask, I am not sure which I want to do. This is well loved, as you probably know, this smells fantastic and this makes my hair feel great. Repurchase: Yes, I probably will at some point.

Up & Up 100% Acetone Remover – This is the nail polish remover that I have always used and will probably continue to use, it gets the job done for the most part and I am happy with it. Repurchase: Already have.

Ulta Beauty Blueberries & Yogurt Face Mask – I loved this mask, it smells weirdly amazing, kind of exactly like what it’s supposed to which is lovely. This face mask also really calms my skin down and moisturizes a bit, so it is safe to say that i enjoyed this one. Repurchase: Yes, I already have.

Bath & Body Works Lemon, Pomegranate and Cream Shower Gel – This smelled amazing, as Bath & Boy Works shower gels typically do, not that I buy them nearly as much anymore. But, when I do they smell too good and this one is for sure in the running for one of the best I’ve used. Repurchase: Probably, if I came across it again.

Up & Up Shaving Gel  – This is yet another staple item for me and it’s not exciting, but it is one of my favorites and is probably the best shaving gel that I have used, so I’m super happy with this. Repurchase: Already have.

Smashbox Primerizer Primer – This is something that I have heard so many different people talk about and everyone seems to love it, so when I got a sample I was really excited to try it out. I did not like it though, it didn’t do anything for my foundation or for the wear of my makeup, so I don’t get the appeal. Repurchase: I would not.

Delectables Hand Cream in Sweet Mint – I like this brand for hand creams, I purchased a set and I like some scents more than others as you might expect, but overall I do like the formula of this. I got through this one but the scent wasn’t my favorite, it didn’t smell quite like what I wanted it to and was a little off, but not terrible. Repurchase: No, not this scent.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray – This is yet another favorite product of mine that I am sad to see go, but it’s just a mini so it hurts less. This does a fantastic job at setting my makeup and prolonging to wear, so I’m a big fan. Repurchase: Yes, I have the full size officially.

Vaseline Lip Therapy – This was a favorite of mine for a long time and I forgot that I even had it, so when I found it mostly used up I figured it had been there a while and it was time to pass this one along to the trash. I loved this a lot though and I think I still do, I just haven’t used it in a while. Repurchase: Probably.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask  – This is a huge favorite of mine, this smells amazing, tastes amazing and does wonders for moisturizing my lips. I can’t say enough good things about this product. Repurchase:  I already have another full size and some minis that I got in a holiday set.

Julep Length Matters Mascara  – I seriously loved this for the past few months, this mascara has been wonderful and checked pretty much all the boxes for me. It’s really black, it has a fantastic wand, it works really well at lengthening and does alright at volumizing. Repurchase: I might after I work through some other mascara.

Soft Lips Chapstick in Watermelon – I couldn’t use these for the longest time and just recently got a two pack of this scent, this is the second one that I have been through and I really love the scent of it though the formula is not my favorite. Repurchase: Probably not.

Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer – This surprised me, I heard nothing but good things about this product and it all lived up to its claims, this is a fantastic concealer. The only beef I really have with it is that the lightest shade wasn’t quite light enough for my liking and the sponge tip is not my favorite method of application. Other than that, it’s a fantastic product.

And those are all my empties from the month, a good mix of products if you ask me and I enjoyed most of them, however I still kind of wish I had finished up more than I did but it’s too late to worry about that. I am content with what I used up though, but I am ready to do better this month.

Did you use up anything fun during the last month of the year?
