December 2018 Lifestyle Favorites

Why December 2018 Was Awesome (1)

Yesterday we talked about all of my beauty related favorites and today is all about the rest of my favorites for the month, my lifestyle favorites if you will. I am never quite sure what to call them so I just call them that because I feel like it sounds more proper if it actually is I do not know, but that’s what I’m doing and I’m sticking to it. So, let’s talk about some slightly random things.

Can I say that my first favorite is Christmas? or is that weird? Either way, I think I am going to stick with calling that one my first favorite. I love Christmas and the entire holiday season, so it is safe to say that I am sad to see it go, especially considering the fact that January always kind of sucks, but it’s about the favorites not terrible things that are currently happening.

Baking is another favorite of mine and I feel like that goes hand in hand with the holiday season. I haven’t baked nearly as much as I wanted to and I had a really terribly tragic baking day, but I am still considering it a favorite because I made some fantastic sugar cookies and cinnamon rolls that should also be considered favorites.

Coloring is a big thing that came back into my life during the last month of the year, I was having a really hard month and this was a rather calming and comforting, so this was for sure a big favorite of the month.

I know I already talked about Christmas but I want to talk about my Christmas Tree because I miss it and still think we should have left it up for the whole year because it’s fantastic and makes me so happy to see. I’m so sad to see it go.

Comfy Clothes have been another great favorite this month because I have been lazy and putting very little effort into what I wear, it’s been a lot of sweaters and jeans or leggings, which I think is perfectly acceptable in the winter months.

This might be my strangest playlist to date, a really good mix of Christmas music and others, all around a strange mix. If you are still interested in taking a listen, you can check it out here.

I feel like all of my favorites from the month of December have been really random and slightly strange, but they are the things that come to mind when I sit down to write this. I am endlessly unprepared to write these posts, so hopefully this year I can remember to write down contenders for each month, we’ll see.

What are some of your favorites from December?
