Hello there, I am back today for another fun and festive review of another festive Lush product, which I am really excited about because I’m always excited about reviewing Lush products. Anything that gets me into a bath is a fun thing that I enjoy talking about. So, today we will be talking about the Cheery Christmas bath bomb, which isn’t the most obviously festive but I still like it and think it’s festive. So, let’s get into talking about it more.
For your enjoyment here is a fun and festive playlist you can listen to while reading blogmas.
This one is all about the Cheery Christmas bath bomb from Lush. This bath bomb will run you $5.95 and is vegan, I believe this one is on the slightly lower price of things.
This bath bomb is also not the most festive of all of the holiday range this year and it is very much out there if you ask me, it’s a snowflake which fits really well into winter but it’s bright pink and that is very non-traditional, I don’t mind it at all because I think it’s cute and fun.
Now that we have gone over the appearance of this bath bomb I think it’s time we get into what really matters, what’s inside. This bath bomb features ingredients such as Sicilian lemon oil, buchu oil to name just a couple.
This bath bomb also looks really bright and like it’s going to just immediately turn your bath water the brightest shade of pink but hidden inside this bath bomb is a blue center that ended up turning my water a lovely pinky kind of purple shade, which was a little bit unexpected.
Now, let’s talk a little bit about the scent in this one, I was really disappointed in it. This smelled nice when I first smelled it, the scent was nice and strong but once it hit the water it ended up being really faint, it was disappointing as I was excited but it just kind of fizzled away with the bath bomb.
The scent of this was really generic and one that I couldn’t place, mostly because it just kind of smelled sweet and of berries, but not any berry in particular. I liked the way it smelled but it wasn’t anything out there.
And the last thing that I want to mention is the feel of this in the water, this isn’t anything extraordinary. It’s moisturizing but as I have said before for sure, all Lush bath bombs are. Also, the last thing I want to mention is this bath bomb has a tiny amount of glitter in it, it’s very fine and not very noticeable but I wanted to mention that before I finished this review up.
I enjoyed this bath bomb, it wasn’t one of my favorites but it is one that I would use again, just not one I am chomping at the bit to get my hands on.
