Face Mask Friday is one of my favorite posts to do every single month, it started as a slow thing but now I love it and look forward to doing it every single month, so much so that I really debate doing more than one a month, which I am sure I have said before and will say again. This month I will be talking about one from Lush, it’s fun and festive so let’s just jump right on in.
For your enjoyment here is a fun and festive playlist you can listen to while reading blogmas.
Today I will be talking about the Lush Rudolph Jelly Face Mask, which is limited edition and currently available, so if you are interested I would suggest picking this up now. This will run you $9.95 and is vegan, as most of the products at Lush are.
I always talk a little bit about packaging so that’s what I am going to do now, even though it is Lush packaging and it’s all pretty much the same. The packaging is really bland but very much Lush, it’s a clear container with the typical Lush logo, it’s nothing interesting but it’s very much classic.
I want to talk about the inside of this really quickly because it’s too cute. The included a little jelly red nose, which is just too cute when you put it on with the face mask.
Now, let’s talk face mask starting with the scent, mostly because I want to. This face mask smells seriously amazing, it smells just like chocolate pudding, so every time I use this mask I can feel my stomach growl, it’s just so tasty smelling.
Let’s talk about the texture of this face mask because it is for sure interesting. This is a jelly face mask which is a new thing to me this year, this is almost like a thicker shower jelly that smooshes really easily once you warm it up and rub it between your hands. I find that it spreads really easily. Also, check out the cute red jelly nose.
I waited for a little while and I found that this face mask didn’t really dry down, which was fine because I have no idea if it’s supposed to. It smelled delightful the entire time and left my skin feeling really great.
This leaves my skin feeling really soft, smooth and pretty calm which is nice. I don’t struggle with a whole lot of irritation or redness, but i do have a little and I found that this really calmed it down.
Overall, this is a really nice face mask, it smells great, left my skin feeling really nice and is pretty interesting while also being very festive. So, it’s safe to say that I am very pleased with this face mask and am seriously contemplating picking up another one before the season is over.
Have you tried a jelly face mask before?
