Hello there, today is all about shopping my stash and I think it’s going to be the last time I shop my stash, as you may or may not know towards the middle of the year I got a new desk and that has really shifted the structure of my makeup collection, so I am finding myself needing to shop my stash less now that everything is at my fingertips. I might change my mind but for now I do not think I will be continuing this, so let’s just jump in.
For your enjoyment here is a fun and festive playlist you can listen to while reading blogmas.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair 1 – I found this recently in a jacket pocket and completely forgot that I had this. I have heard nothing but good things about this concealer and I am jazzed to finally really try it out.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure – This is a stunning blush that is just the perfect shade and so glowy, which I think is great for this time of year and I am really excited to try this out again.
NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Foundation in Pale – This might be my last time with this foundation, I don’t really know, I think it’s too light but I think I can make it work, so I’m throwing this foundation in mostly as a tester for seeing if I can make it work the way that I like.
Mally Effortlessly Airbrushed Highlighter in Stardust – This looks stunning and I haven’t even touched it yet, so it is very much safe to say that I am excited about this one because of how pretty it is.
Wet ‘N Wild Matte Primer – I haven’t touched this primer in a while so I thought it was time to bring this one out and see how it goes, see if it gives me that matte and flawless look that I sometimes enjoy.
Benefit Hoola Bronzer – I think this is the last bronzer in my collection I have to try out, so into the stash for this month it goes. This one is well loved but I haven’t really tried it out very much yet so it’s time to see how it goes.
The Balm Instain Blush in Houndstooth – This is another blush that I think is perfect for the winter time, it’s a nice mauvey berry shade which is just perfect for those cold winter days.
NYX Away We Glow Liquid Highlighter in State of Flux – I have had this for probably too long at this point, but it still seems fine to me so I am going to continue to use it and hopefully enjoy it a bunch this month because it seems really fun for kicking off the winter.
NYX Sugar Trip Squad – I almost regret not picking the gingerbread palette as my palette of the month but at the same time I don’t because I am very excited to play with some fun colors and enjoy this one, plus this one is still festive.
Too Faced Sketch Marker in Let Them Be Jealous – This just seemed like a great pick to be because it’s a dark forest green kind of color and that really screams Christmas to me.
Urban Decay Heavy Metal Liner in Distortion – I love glitter and I love this eyeliner, though it isn’t opaque like I really want it to be, it’s still pretty and adds an extra bit to any look that I am doing.
Lime Crime Diamond Dew n Tinsel & Gold Dust – These are both new to me and since they are from the holiday collection I figured that meant I really needed to throw them in the mix and enjoy them.
PB&J Smoothie Stick in Raisin the Roof – I forgot that I had this completely, I can’t remember who talked about this but I saw someone talking about it and I had to have it. I am super excited to try this finally.
Lime Crime Plushies in Blackberry – I love the plushies formula, it’s seriously been my favorite as of recently and this shade is newer to me, so I am ready to try this. Plus, I really think this lip color is going to look amazing for the season.
Wet ‘N Wild Liquid Catsuit Lipgloss in Send Nudes – I think at this point I just have endless amounts of lip products at this point that it’s almost impossible for me to have tried them all, so this is another new try that I am excited about.
Sephora #lipstories in oui! – I think this shade is so pretty and probably not perfect for this time of year but I also don’t care, so we are going to try this soft color out this month.
Beauty Bakerie Cake Pop in Peanut Butter Bluster – This is darker than what I typically go for but since I have purchased a bunch of these, I figured I should try them out and see how they go. Plus, while this shade is out of my comfort zone it is a darker shade that makes a lot of sense for the winter if you ask me.
Those are all of my makeup picks for the month of December, a fun mix of things that I am excited to focus on and try out. I almost think I might continue doing these because it is nice to focus on things but at the same time, I kind of just want to browse my stuff when I get ready and see how that goes. I’ll figure it out and we will see if this comes with us into the new years.
