Today I am doing my final princess for my Disney Inspired series, that doesn’t mean that the series is done just that I have officially done all of the Disney princesses and now I will be open to other characters. I’m kind of excited to be able to say that I have done a makeup look inspired by all of the Disney princesses, is that weird? Probably. Anyway, Let’s just dive into my Moana inspired makeup look.
These are the two photos that I have chosen for my Moana inspired look, these are what I took inspiration from and they are pretty simple but they capture all of the colors and spirit of Moana that I wanted to catch. I think these capture a softer side of Moana and really capture all the lovely shades of the outfit she wears, so I’m pretty happy with these as inspiration. Now, let’s get into the look.
Let me start off by saying that I am actually really happy with how this looks but, I’m not sure this is the best Moana I could have done looking back on it, but at the same time I still think it fits the theme, I just think I could have done better. I took my inspiration from her outfit and I think I may have gone just a tad too bright, but it’s still cute.
Eyes: Too Faced Shadow Insurance, Ace Beaute Slice of Paradise Palette in the shades Flamingo, Passion Fruit and Fruit Dove, Face Candy Sahra Palette in Acacia, Desert Sun and Gazelle, Stila Smudge Stick in Cobalt, Physicians Formula 2-in-1 Eyeliner in Ultra Black and Julep Length Matters Mascara. Face: Mac Strobe Cream, Makeup Revolution Conceal + Define Foundation in F1, Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer in Fair, CoverFX Perfect Setting Powder in Translucent Light, The Balm Anti Orange Bronzer in Oliver, Physicians Formula Butter Blush in Vintage Rouge, Nars Eyeshadow in Andromeda and Mac Fix+ Coconut. Lips: Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Celebrity Skin.
And that is my Moana inspired look, I like the way it looks as a whole and I can find where I took inspiration, it just might be a little bit on the brighter side of things.
What Disney character should I do next month?
