Fall 2018 Makeup Picks

Fall Makeup Picks (3)

I love doing these each season, I just think it’s really fun to dig through my collection and curate a full list of products that I think would be fantastic for a season, it’s just a strangely good time. I thought I had done a summer one this year but I’m not sure that I have, either way, I will be sharing some really appropriate fall makeup picks, or at least I think they make sense, so let’s get into it.

Fall Makeup (2)

Wet ‘N Wild Fit For A Queen – This is such a perfect little fall quad, it’s really affordable and the colors are spot on. This has a stunning gold, a really gorgeous matte red and a great transition shade, a cute little quad perfect for fall.

Dose Of Colors Lipgloss in Messy Bun – This lip gloss is a really pretty dusty mauve kind of shade that I think will look great with all of the looks this fall.

Maybelline Color Sensational Shine Compulsion in Taupe Seduction – Not everything for fall has to be warm-toned, most of my picks are but not this lipstick, this is a really beautiful shiny mauvey taupey kind of shade that is just super pretty.

Urban Decay Hi-Fi Shine Lipgloss in 1993 – Not gonna lie, I hated this lipstick but still bought the lipgloss in this shade and it was all because of the name, it’s the year I was born. But anyway, I actually really like this shade, it’s a lovely brown shade that can be built up to whatever opaqueness you would like.

J.Cat Beauty Glitter in Pumpkin – I had to include this, I’m back to enjoying some glitter and this orange glitter is just too pretty and too perfect to not have mentioned.

Wet ‘N Wild Megaliner in You Are My Wingman – This shade is too pretty, this is a really pretty orangey coral liner that I bet would look great with a lot of warm eyeshadow looks.

Essence Satin Touch Blush in Satin Love – This blush is seriously so fabulous and so affordable, it’s very pigmented and soft and this color is just stunning for those cooler months.

The Balm Instain Blush in Houndstooth – This is a darker mauve shade and I think this would be really fantastic for the fall and winter months because of how dark it is and how mauve it is, it’s just really lovely. Plus, this is a seriously long lasting blush.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Toulouse  – This shade is a really pretty my lips but better kind of pink and the formula is really fabulous. This is a great kind of nudey pink shade that is perfect for October if you ask me.

Mac Face Powder in Here Comes Joy – I can’t link this because this was limited edition and I’m not sure that I should have shared this, but this is such a pretty warm champagne gold kind of shade that just feels like it belongs in this list.

Fall Makeup (1)

Lime Crime Venus 2 – This palette is perfect for fall, it has that really interesting grungy fall kind of look to it, which is perfect for this time of year. I think this also has an interesting mix of colors so you can really come up with some fun looks while also being able to come up with some more neutral-ish looks.

Lorac Megapro 1 – I had always wanted to get my hands on this palette and I recently did, thus far it has not disappointed. This is a really beautiful palette with a lot of mauves and reds in it while also having a ton of neutral options.

Jeffree Star Androgyny Palette – This palette is so interesting in terms of color choice, it seems a little random to me but after having played with it for a while I think it’s a really fun mix. This is another palette that doesn’t really do neutral but it does have a lot of those iconic fall shades, like olive, burgundy and a lovely copper.

And those are all of my fall makeup picks for this year, a really good mix of fun but also practical products, a little high end, and a little low end as well. I’m just really happy with these picks and think that any of these items would help you really achieve that fall look you are going for.
