Try It Tuesday: Sugar Milk Co.

Try It Tuesday_Sugar Milk Co

Last month during try it Tuesday we talked all about bath products and this month is basically the same as I am talking all about bath and body products from the brand Sugar Milk Co. I have to say this, this brand has fantastic branding and is honestly part of the reason why I knew I had to try out some of their products. This one might be a little bit of a longer try it Tuesday, so grab a snack and let’s get into it.

Let’s start out with the very first product that I used out of this box and that is the Pink Astronaut Candy Bath Bomb, which did not look as pictured as you can see, mostly because it appears to have gotten all beat up in transit to me. Other than that everything was great, this bath bomb is very pink and still very much pink once it hits the water. This was a quick fizzer and very moisturizing, this also has a very sweet and fruity smell, with just a touch of fresh green-ness to it, which I thought was really interesting.

I didn’t remember to get a photo of this next product on it’s own before I started using it, so we will just be using this photo to talk about the Strawberry Milk Moisturizing Body Wash. This comes in the cutest packaging and this is also very pink, which is really right up my alley. The only thing I was kind of surprised by is how thing this formula is, even for a body wash it is very much thin and watery but it doesn’t particularly bother me, it was just not what I was expecting.

This next one looks a lot like food and smells a lot like it too, this is the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Body Scrub. This is a sugar scrub and this is a really fine, but very much moisturizing body scrub. This also had me fooled for food at first, this was probably the only product that I would genuinely be concerned about someone mistaking for food and eating. This smells fantastic and is just all around a really nice body scrub.

Let me tell you a little story about this bath bomb, based on the description of this product I knew I had to have it because it sounded like it would smell exactly like the Sweet on Paris scent from Bath & Bodyworks years ago. Honestly, it really does while in full form but once it hits the water the scent is very faint. This is the Unicorn Donut Bath Bomb and it is a quick fizzer, very moisturizing and very faint in scent.

Up next is something really festive, this is the Confetti Cake Bath Sprinkles, which are really just bath salts, something that I have never tried before. Thes smell really good and smell exactly like what they are supposed, they smell like cake with a faint tinge of frosting, which is so fun and also really tasty. I didn’t taste these but the smell is very much tasty, if that makes sense. These took a while to dissolve and they didn’t really tint the water, not that I was really sure what exactly to expect from these.

And the last product is something that looks a lot like another product that I’ve seen but it doesn’t smell anything like it, this is the Sugar Candy Unicorn Candy Horn Bubble Bar. This one smells very sweet and very much fruity, I can’t put my finger on what exactly it smells like but it smells like fruity candy for sure and it is strong. This one doesn’t really make a lot of bubbles, it does okay but nothing impressive seeing as I used the entire thing. This was really moisturizing and felt nice in the water. The last thing is the color, I guess mixing all of these colors really makes the water an awful color.

So, overall I do like this brand, I think as a whole this brand has a really great overall vibe and fantastic branding, it’s very cute and consistently so.
