Disney Inspired: Mulan from Mulan

Husband Styles me (1)

Yes, it is time for another Disney inspired look and I am still making my way through princesses, last month was all about Merida and this month is all about Mulan. This month is a little bit different but I think it still fits fine, this month I have only done an eye mostly because I did this look the weekend after my wisdom teeth extraction and didn’t really want to do my whole face. But, I think an eyeshadow look still counts for a proper Disney inspired look.

As usual, I will start out by talking a little bit about a couple of images that inspired me. For Mulan I was mostly inspired by this outfit and the colors from this outfit, I saw something on Pinterest with similar colors and was like let me mess around with these shades. So, that is completely where I pulled my inspiration this month, pretty simple I think.

Products Used: NYX White Shadow Base, Various shades from the BH Cosmetics Take Me Back To Brazil Palette, Milk Makeup Pigment in Mermaid, NYX Faux Whites Eyeliner in Honeydew and Tarte Tarteist Clay Paint Mascara.

Not a ton of different products but enough that created a really fun and great eye, at least I think so. I am very happy with how this turned out. This one might not be my most obvious of makeup looks but I think it does a really good job of making it clear that I am inspired by Mulan. I’m just really happy with this eye.

What Disney characters would you like to see in the future?

  1. I absolutely loved this. Mulan is def my second fav princess, right after Tiana and right before Belle!
