We are back for another month of shopping my stash, something that I find especially fun now that all of my products are at my fingertips and it just feels easy to incorporate my picks with any look I can think of. Last month was all about glitter pretty much and this month is a little more about the glow, I would say. Let’s just take a look at my picks and you can judge for yourself.
Let’s start with the base, my base for this month is clearly all about the glow and that’s what I’m hoping to accomplish in July, a really glowy base.
The Ordinary High Adherence Silicone Primer – I have had this for far too long to not try out, at the least. So, it is finally time to really give this a go, so far I have tried it once and I’m on the fence about so we shall see how this goes.
W7 GlowCoMotion Highlighter – I believe this is a dupe for The Balm’s Maru Lou-Manizer and I haven’t touched it a whole lot, so since I’m going with this whole glowy skin thing I thought this was the perfect highlighter to bring out this month.
The Balm Take Home The Bronze Bronzer in Oliver – This is a very light bronzer which is what I need, I don’t really get a whole lot of sun which means that I need something lighter to give my face a little bit more warmth when I do get a tiny bit of sun, or when I’m trying to look like I get a tiny bit of sun. So, trying this out in July seems like the perfect time.
Wet ‘N Wild Illumi-Naughty Highlighting and Concealing Pen in I-Vory Into You – This is something that I loved for a while and then stopped purchasing because the lightest shade was hard for me to get my hands on where I live, but I came across it and have decided to give it another shot and see if I love it as much as I once did.
Essence Fresh & Fit Awake Makeup in Fresh Ivory – I am trying to get through and try out all of the foundations that I currently own but I keep buying so that is making it difficult, I think I have one more after this one until I pick up a new one of course. I picked this one out because it seemed like the best choice for a glowy skin base plus I hadn’t gotten a chance to try it out yet.
Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso – A cult classic that I have had for a little while but haven’t tried out nearly enough, so into the picks for the month it goes.
As for eyes I’m not really sure what the theme is here aside from warmer tones for the most part and something a little bit fun.
Urban Decay Razor Sharp Eyeliner in Bump -Brining out the white eyeliner again, a product that I keep bringing out and not using nearly as much as I want to. I’m really going to try and incorporate it into looks this month, we’ll see how it goes.
Essence Metal Shock Eyeshadow in Moon Dust – I used to love silver eyeshadow, so I am throwing it back to the days of rocking silver eyeshadow with this one. I’m not sure how this will go but I can’t lie, I’m really excited about bringing this one out.
Bad Habit Beauty Athena Palette – I’ve had this for a little while and I’ve played with a tiny bit but not nearly enough, for a while there I was buying way too much makeup and haven’t been wearing it enough to really try everything out. So I’m trying to stop buying so much and really trying to test things out, which is why this is here.
Physcians Formula Eyeshadow Quad in Classic Nude – This little quad swatches amazingly and yet, I still haven’t tried this out, so it’s time to fix that and time to finally give this a fair try.
Fenty Beauty Killawatt Foil Freestyle Highlighter Duo in Mimosa Sunrise/Sangria Sunset – This is brand new to me and something that I really wanted, I bought it the day it came out and it so pretty and makes me want to do such pretty sunset eyes, which is probably what I will be attempting to do with this shortly.
Urban Decay Hi-Fi Ultra Cushion Lipgloss in 1993 – I wanted so badly to love the lipstick in this shade but I really didn’t, so when this came along I was a little bit iffy but still picked it up because I had some faith in my birth year and this is actually really pretty, so I’m happy to have picked this up.
Mac Oh, Sweetie Lipgloss in Creamy Peach Pie & Purple Panna Cotta – These are new to me and the one thing that I really wanted to pick up during the month of June, this was the purchase that I planned that didn’t count towards my no buy. Anyway, these shades are a bit out of my norm but I am really excited to try them out because they seem like perfect summer shades.
Lime Crime Plushie in Milk Tea – This is something that I haven’t tried out nearly enough, like pretty much everything else in this post. I love this color, it’s a really gorgeous shade and I’m jazzed to try out this formula.
Lime Crime Wet Cherry Gloss in Bitter Cherry – This is new and I really love the idea of these, though the packaging is just terrible, but anyway this seems like a great summer lip and I am really excited about trying this out.
And those are all of my picks this month, nothing really that exciting but still a lot of new things or a lot of older things that I really want to try out. The focus this month is on a glowy face, sunset eyes and a pretty fun summer lip but also some more natural picks.
