It’s time for me to start with writing too many road trip posts and too many pack with my posts, but I am excited and ready to get these up there in case anyone is curious. I personally love these kinds of posts, not to help me pack, although sometimes they do just because I am nosey and like to see what other people pack and how much they overpack. I am an over-packer for sure so you’ll probably want to grab a drink and snack before settling in to read this post.
Wet ‘N Wild Dewy Primer – I have settled on taking tow primers with me, one dewy and one more blurring, so the first choice is obviously dewy and so far this is still a product that I love, which is clear since I’m taking it with me.
Tarte Rainforest Of The Seat Water Foundation – This is my foundation of choice for this trip for a few reasons, one being that its halfway gone, one being the SPF in it and the most important being that I feel like it’ll perform perfectly in the warmer climate.
NYX Blotting Powder – This is my go-to face powder, especially when I am trying to blend something out a little bit so this one was a no-brainer for me.
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer – Another favorite of mine that I don’t think I’ve used in a while so into the bag it goes to go on the trip with me, super excited about using this again and seeing if I love it as much as I remember.
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder – Another powder favorite of mine, I prefer to use this one when I’m just setting and don’t want any added color.
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray – This is something that I couldn’t live without on this trip because this stuff is really fantastic and helps my makeup last throughout the day no matter the condition. So, this has to be brought along.
e.l.f. Cover Everything Concealer in Corrective Yellow – This is my current favorite undereye concealer, it does wonders at concealing bags and really brightening the area overall, so this had to come along.
Benefit Porefessional Primer – This is my second primer and I really love this one, I love it so much that I have it in like four different sizes. This is my favorite pore filling primer and it really does wonders at making my skin look perfected, so I am a huge fan of this one.
MAC Oh My Passion Blush – This was limited edition so I can’t link this one, but this seems like the perfect spring and summer blushy-bronzer type of product and I haven’t used it nearly enough, so a trip like this makes a lot of sense to me to use this on.
Colourpop Smoke ‘N Whistles – My favorite highlighter and the highlighter that I’m working on panning in my current project pan, so I figured I would tote this along because it’s stunning and I’m pretty sure I’m never going to finish this one up.
Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Baby Love – Probably my all time favorite blush ever, it’s just so easy to wear and goes perfect with all looks, which is easily why it went into the bag with me.
Kat Von D Eyeshadow/Blush in Lolita – I haven’t tried this at all yet as it is brand new to me, but I really wanted to test it out and try it out but didn’t really have a lot of time before I left, so into the makeup bag it went.
Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Hu$tlas Baby – I got a small sample size of this highlighter recently during the Sephora sale, which I may or not post my tiny haul of, I’m not really sure. But this is new and I wanted a chance to try it out, that’s why it’s here.
Benefit Hoola Bronzer – I’ve never tried this before but I hear plenty of good things about it, so since I finally have a sample sized product of this one I decided to bring this along as my bronzer, here’s to hoping that I don’t hate it since it’ll be the only one I have with me.
Custom Palette – This palette is a bunch of shadows from various brands, if you guys are interested I can do a custom palette tour sometime but right now I’m probably just going to share this photo because it would be a lot to list them all out.
Wet ‘N Wild Color Icon Single Eyeshadow in Creme Brulee – My all time favorite base eyeshadow, I’ve been through a bunch of these and when traveling without a palette that has this shade in it this is a must-have eyeshadow for me.
Lorac Pro Matte – This is in my project pan and I just thought the matte shades that I have left in here would make a fantastic accompanying piece to my custom palette.
Too Faced Shadow Insurance – I can’t leave home without this, this is a must-have if I have plans on wearing eyeshadow anywhere.
Tarte Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara – This is my current favorite mascara and instead of trying something new on this trip I’ve thrown this one in the bag because I know that I really love this one.
Wet ‘N Wild Megaslim Waterproof Skinny Mascara – I’ve really been loving using this on my bottom lashes and it was one of my go-to products right now, so I had to bring it along.
The Balm Batter Up in Moonshot – This one is completely coming along with me on this trip because I think this is a fantastic eyeshadow stick for when you just want to do something super simple and easy, but it’s also a great product if you want to do something more fun too.
Physicians Formula Eye Booster Eyeliner in Ultra Black – Sometimes I try out other eyeliners and while I like them I always come back to this one because this eyeliner is simply fantastic, it’s super easy to use, really dark black and all around a favorite of mine.
Rimmel Exaggerate Eyedefiner Waterproof in In The Nude – This is another staple that I used for my waterline, I don’t always use it but I figured I could bring it along.
Essence Extreme Lasting Eye Pencil in Blacklove – This is what I use to tightline and on occasion waterline, mostly because it lasts better than any other pencil I’ve used and it’s really black, it’s just a fantastic pencil.
Etude House Dear Darling Tint in Dark Pink – This is one of those products that just last on the lips forever because it leaves a bit of a tint, this also smells amazing and can be sheered out or built up for some color and I love having this option. Plus it’s an adorable popsicle.
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Ludwig – This is brand new to me but it’s something I’ve been wanting to try for what feels like ages, so into the bag it goes so I can really give it a good try.
Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in Blushing Margarita – Another pick from my project pan because this is a lipgloss that I know will easily go with any look or look great by itself with no other makeup, so into the bag this one goes.
Lipstick Queen in Hello Sailor – I just love this lipstick and am ready to rediscover my love for it because it has been a hot minute since I have tried this one out.
Fenty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer – Another new item to me and a product that I have heard nothing but amazing things about, both online and bother from people I know. I am excited to get to try this out and I think this will be a fabulous gloss.
And that’s all of the makeup that I’m bringing on this trip, probably way too much when it comes down to it but at the same time I am a makeup lover so I am actually pretty proud that I didn’t go even more overboard. Though I will have to admit, I did add a couple of extra items into this bag and I did not include all of my brush and extras, but we just won’t pay attention to those. I am happy with my choices, I’m traveling by car and this really doesn’t take up that much space when it comes down to it so it’s fine.
