Spring Makeup Picks

Hello to San Francisco!

I want to do these for all of the seasons but somehow I feel like I keep missing one each year like I have the full intention to do one each season but winter rolls around and I forget, or maybe it’s fall, either way, that will not be the case this year. This year I want to share my makeup picks for each season, so today we will be starting with spring and expect to see one of these every season because I’m going to remember this year.

Milani Hypnotic Lights Powder Highlighter in Luminous Light – This is one of their duochrome highlighters and I really like this one, I also think it’s perfect for spring, hence it being in this post. This is a very light pink with a kind of reddish flash to it, it’s very interesting without being too over the top or strange.

Glossier Cloud Paint in Puff – I’ve had this for a little while now and I actually really like it, it took me just a little bit of time to really figure out to properly use it but once I did it became simple. This gives a nice flush of color to the cheeks that looks natural and effortless.

Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in Sunset Cove – I love these, all of them that I own are fantastic and this one just screams spring to me. This is a light purple duochrome one with a blue shift to it, it’s really stunning and very spring.

Lipstick Queen Mornin’ Sunshine Lipstick – I think I’ll be wearing this one well into the summer time as well, I know these are kind of gimmicky but I really do enjoy these color changing lipsticks from Lipstick Queen. This is a yellow lipstick that turns to the perfect coral shade for each person, I love that and I think this is a great spring color in turn.

Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in Distortion – I love glitter, I don’t wear glitter enough but I really love glitter, that’s where I got my blog name from even. Anyway, this is an iridescent glitter that is perfect for the springtime to add a little bit of fun to a look.

Etude House Dear Darling Water Gel Tin in Dark Pink – I love these so much! I only have two at the moment but they are great, they are a really light wash of color on the lips, they feel like nothing on the lips and they smell amazing. I just really like this.

e.l.f. Cover Everything Concealer in Corrective Yellow – I know, this seems a little bit like a strange pick but I like the shade of yellow in terms of spring picks, it looks like it fits. I think this is a great product to cover under eye bags and it just happens to fit really well with the spring color theme.

Wet ‘N Wild Megaliner in A Case Of Blue – They don’t seel this anymore and I’m pretty sure I’ve included this in all past spring picks, but it just fits so well. This is a fantastic eyeliner, a really interesting and stunning blue shade as well. I just really love this and wish they would bring this shade back.

Clinique Cheek Pop in Melon Pop – I love the cheek pops, I actually kind of like a lot of the Clinique makeup I’ve tried so long as it’s not their face products, I don’t love their foundation and concealers. Anyway, this looks like the perfect spring blush if you ask me, a pretty melon pink and a flower design imprinted on it as well.

Glossier Balm Dotcom in Rose – I hate the smell of thise, I typically hate Rose scents so I’m not sure why I picked this one out of all the ones that they sell but I did. I like the light color tint on the lips this gives and for those of you that like rose scented things it’s very springy.

And those are all of my spring makeup picks for this year, a good mix of products and a good mix of shades I think. All of these are products that I would reccommend and that I use fairly frequently because they are pretty.

What are some of your spring picks?
