April 2018 Shop My Stash

April 2018

I am back with another shop my stash post, I wonder how long I’ve been doing these, it feels like a while but I’m sure it’s only been a few months, at this point in my life I think it is safe for me to say that I pretty much have no grasp on time. Anyway, last month was a bit much and I think I’ve scaled this month back a bit, so let’s get into seeing what I picked out for the month.

The Ordinary High Adherence Silicone Primer I have had this for a little while now and I’ve not tried it yet, partly because I have somehow accumulated a ton of different primers and this one has just not been on the top of my list. That is changed, it is time to try this one out and see how it goes.

e.l.f. Cover Everything Concealer in Corrective Yellow –  This is back again pretty much just because I love this little guy, it does wonders for my undereye area and it’s just a really fantastic formula.

Maybelline Super Stay Full Coverage Foundation – This is new to me which means I had to try it out, I’ve been hearing nothing but good things about this foundation so I am hoping that it lives up to what I think it will be.

Wet ‘N Wild Color Icon Bronzer in Reserve Your Cabana – I didn’t try this last month, why? I’m not really sure but I never did get around to putting it on my face, so back into the stash it goes this month. This is yet another product that I hear nothing but good things about.

NYX Gotcha Covered Concealer – I have heard mixed things about this concealer but I own it now and am willing to give it a fair shot, we will just have to wait and see how it goes.

Milani Prime Light Strobing + Pore Minimizing Face Primer – Another primer for this month and another thing that I have heard a ton of good things about but am wanting to try it out for myself.

Physicians Formula Butter Blush in Vintage Rouge – I have had this for too long without really getting a chance to try it out, everyone talks about the butter formula like it’s the best one ever and I’m ready to really try this blush out.

Essence Eyeshadow Single in Snowflake – I like using this eyeshadow mostly as a highlight, it is very pigmented and very much a blinding white highlight, so if you are looking for an inexpensive one then I would suggest trying this one out.

Becca Mineral Blush in Flowerchild – This was a favorite blush of mine once upon a time and it’s like I’ve forgotten that it exists, so I’m bringing it out for the month of April to really try this out and play with it again.

Tarte Tartist Lash Paint Mascara – I haven’t tried this yet but I have quite a few mascaras that I am wanting to try and I’ve decided to break this one out for the month.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Foundation Stick in Fawn – I love this, that is no secret and I’m kind of trying to use this up while also just enjoying this one.

Benefit High Beam – I always wanted this because I feel like for a long time everyone and their dog was all about this, finally got my hands on a sample size and I haven’t hardly used it so I’m really excited to properly try this one out.

Makeup Revolution Reloaded Palette in Division – This is my eyeshadow palette for the month because I think it’ll be nice to play with and I have been hearing fantastic things about these palettes so I am jazzed to try this one out.

Wet ‘N Wild MegaSlim Skinny Mascara Waterproof – A bottom lash mascara, something that I thought was stupid but something that I have purchased to try after hearing nothing but good things about it, so it’s time to try this out and see how great it is.

Essence Extreme Lasting Eye Pencil in Blacklove – I have brought this one back out so I can get a really dark line on my upper lash line, I know I like this eyeliner quite a bit so there will be no surprises here.

Urban Decay Razor Sharp Water Resistant Longwear Liquid Eyeliner in BumpI was jazzed about white eyeliners last year but never really played with them very much. That is going to change this month, I’m bringing this guy out to try and use, let’s see if I can come up with anything really fun.

And those are all of the products that I will be paying extra attention to this month, I didn’t realize how much drugstore I picked out this month, I guess I was feeling true to my drugstore roots this month. I also didn’t share any lip picks this week but that is due to the fact that I’m trying out 30 different lip colors this month and kind of sorting through them, so look for that update next month.
