Why March 2018 Was Awesome + Goals

Why March 2018 Was Awesome

Another month is over and I’m pretty glad to say that March is finally gone, March wasn’t the worst month this year but it was pretty damn close. This month seems to have gone on forever, it still cold and it keeps raining, which is just sad. I am excited for April and even more excited for May, one more month stands between me and going on a two-week road trip. But it’s not about that, instead, let’s get into wrapping up March.

Last month felt like a mile long and that theme has continued into this month, so basically, this whole year has felt like it was never going to end and at this point, I’m not really sure that it will. I mean, I know it will but it doesn’t feel like it at all, has anyone else been feeling that way?

Like last month I think this month hasn’t really been exciting, hell, I’m not sure I’ve had one but still I keep writing these posts just because I like to and I think it’ll be nice to look back on and see what kind of mindset I am in, I just like it. So here we are, me rambling on and on about nothing much really.

This month has been cold, which is something I hate and I am tired of but it finally warmed up here a little bit towards the end of the month, which meant we got to go outside and play tennis again without freezing. I am super excited about playing tennis more frequently and getting moving in a way that is more than just a treadmill in the warehouse where I work.

Which I don’t know if I mentioned but we played Tennis a few times towards the beginning of the month, which was fun.

Other than that not much has been going on but I am very much looking forward to the next few months and hoping that it will be a little more interesting, but for now, we will leave it at that and we’ll get into goals.

Last months goals didn’t go so great, I did not call to schedule getting my wisdom teeth removed, mostly because I am a scaredy cat but I have to do that soon. I haven’t driven more either, I’m not sure that I ever will so at this point I think it’ll be an endless goal. The last thing is to get two books ahead of schedule, which I did complete but barely. In case anyone was curious, here is my Goodreads profile, I’m not sure that I ever linked it before. Now for some goals for next month.

Setting up an appointment for my wisdom teeth, let’s see how many times I put this in here before I actually do it. For some reason, I think if I put it publicly in my goals that I will actually do it, so far that has been a bust.

Get back into working out, which I have kind of started doing but I’m really hoping to get back into the groove or working out regularly, especially because I have been eating better, not great but still a lot better than I once was.

Get three books ahead which really just means getting one more book ahead and keeping up the pace so I can stay ahead, this one is a bit ambitious but I am excited to try and keep up my pace.

No Buy/Low Buy. I plan to put myself on a no buy for the month of April in terms of makeup, with the exception of one purchase that I have planned on making all month. And a low buy in terms of clothing, not that I need anything but I knew it would be impossible to keep myself stuck to a no buy on both, but maybe I can? Probably not.

Any goals for April?
