It’s a new month which means it is time for a new Disney inspired makeup look, this month I am continuing the trend of Princesses and am doing Tiana from The Princess and The Frog, per my husband’s suggestion. Last month was Elsa, who I get is technically a queen but whatever, I’m counting her as a princess and we’re still going with this princess theme here. Anyway, today the focus is on Tiana, so let’s hop right in. (See what I did there?)
These are the photos that I have chosen to use for inspiration for Tiana, the left is her at the very end of the movie and I really picked out a lot of the shades I used from this look, which basically means a lot of greens and some gold. The right photo is my more fun choice because my husband suggested that I do a mardi gras esque Tiana since I’m always looking to mix looks up a little bit and mardi gras is in the air. So, these are the images that I based the entire look on.
Eyes: Too Faced Shadow Insurance, NYX Base in White, Wet N Wild Eyeshadow in Brulee, Too Faced Eyeshadow in Clover, Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Envy, Buxom Eyeshadow in Room Service, NYX Faux Whites Eyeliner in Honeydew, NYX Glam Liner in 04 Gold, Jordana Best Lash Extreme and Milani Brow Tint Pen in Natural Taupe. Face: Wet N Wild Dewy Face Primer, L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation in Classic Ivory, Makeup Revolution Conceal + Define in C1, Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder, NYX HD Blush in Taupe, Cit Colors Be Matte Blush in Blackberry and Colourpop Super Shock Cheek in Smokin’ Whistles. Lips: Lypsyl Yummy Sticks in Sea Salt and Caramel and Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Glory.
And that is the complete look, a look that I’m really quite happy and content with, it’s fun while also reminding me a bit of Tiana. I mostly used her colors and the spirit of something fun, such as mardi gras. I love these eyes and can see myself doing these again for sure.
What character do you think I should do next month?
