Now, time to pick out my makeup picks for February, which is always exciting and is one of my favorite posts to write now. I don’t know what it is but I love going through my stash and I really love picking out the products that I’m going to focusing on for the month, it just really fun and satisfying. Let’s just get into the choices I have made for February.
I guess we will start this month out by talking about my stand out products from last months picks, e.l.f. Aqua Lip Stain in Dewy Berry this one is a really fantastic and long-wearing shade, it’s really comfortable and just a great lip color for when I don’t want to think about it. Stila Shimmer & Glow Eyeshadow in Freedom I only used this product once but I loved it so much that I think it should be mentioned, this is so shimmery and blue, I just love it. Too Faced Primed & Peachy Cooling Matte Primer this is not the best primer that I’ve ever used but I do really like it, I also like the fact that this feels really cooling.
L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation – I am bringing this back once more, a little bit because I really like this foundation and a little bit because I think I am nearing the end of this foundation and I’m really kind of hoping to finish this up this month, but we’ll see how this goes, it might take another month but we will have to wait and see about that.
Model’s Own Sculpt & Glow Highlighter Stick in Moonlight – I own a few stick and liquid highlighters and I really want to be able to test them out, see what I really think about them and such, so that it why this guy is here. Based on swatches this one looks stunning, but I think I have to use it a few times before I can really judge.
Josie Maran Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm – I’ve had to this for far too long probably, so I’ve thrown it in this month to try and finish this up. I really like this product, I think it gives a really fantastic glow and I think this will be super easy to use up.
Too Faced Primed & Peachy Cooling Matte Perfecting Primer – Another primer that I am throwing in here to try and use up, I’ve had this one for a little while and it has gone way longer than I expected it to.
e.l.f. Cover Everything Concealer in Corrective Yellow – This is new to me and something that I really wanted to try out, so into the monthly shop my stash it goes. I don’t have a ton of problems with undereye bags, but I want to try this out still.
Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Full Coverage Conceal & Contour – I had to put this in here because the second I got this I had to try it out, this is supposed to be a dupe for the Tarte shape tape concealer and I am super excited about trying this.
Lime Crime Diamond Dew Pixie & Chameleon – I’m just going to group these two together since they are just the same product in different shades. These are new to me and something I am super excited to use, I love glitter and these look so pretty, I am especially excited about the shade pixie.
Bobbi Brown Blush Duo – These are back because I am still unsure if I like these or not, I know I like the darker of the two shades but I’m not sure about the lighter and I’m hoping that with another month of use that I can determine if these are something that I want to keep or not.
Mac Here Comes Joy Powder – This is stunning, I may have picked this up partly because of the packaging but the product itself is really nice too, so I am completely okay with owning this and because this is newer to me I really wanted to try this out.
City Color Be Matte Blush in Blackberry – This blush was hiding in the back of my blush drawer so out it comes, I think this shade is a really great one for the winter season which is why I think it’ll be great for February, the end of winter.
Maybelline Color Tattoo Concentrated Crayon in Lilac Lust – This was a gift and this shade is really pretty, I’ve never tried this type of color tattoo so I am excited to test it out, plus this color seems like the perfect shade to go with all of my other eye products this month. I usually try to build my eye products up over a shade range, if you couldn’t tell that already.
Nyx Vivid Brights Eyeliner in Fire – This is something that I wanted to throw in because it’s red and it’s February, it just seemed like a great fit.
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner – This basically lives in my drawer right now, not sure why I’m including it in this post but I am.
Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette – How could this not be the February palette? It smells like chocolate, it is pink and the pans are heart-shaped, it just reeks of Valentine’s day and I am excited to test this one out finally, not that I’ve had it too long.
Jordana Best Lash Extreme – This is my mascara for the month, I’ve heard nothing but good things about this so into the drawer it goes.
Milani Brow Tint Pen in Natural Taupe – This is also becoming a staple product in my makeup drawer so I’m not sure why I’m sharing it but I am. If this hangs around in the drawer after this month I’m just not going to include it in the shop my stash post for March.
Sephora #Lipstories in Love Love – I love this lipstick already, I also want so many shades from this line but first I really want to try this out a few times and see what I really think, so I’m going to test out this gorgeous nude shade this month.
Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Sheer Rapture – I love this lipstick, it’s a favorite of mine, it seemed like a great color choice for this month and really I just wanted to wear it.
Nars Velvet Lip Glide in Bound – This is going to be my last time trying this out before I pass this along, if I don’t use this then I probably don’t need this mini in my life.
And those are all of my picks, I think this is a little less than last month but I am still happy with my picks and feel really excited about trying these out. I feel like these shop my stash posts are becoming more and more trying to see what I don’t like so I can get rid of things, but that is alright with me.
