Hello, today I am reviewing a primer from Touch In Sol, I bought this on a whim, unsurprisingly as I seem to have a tendency to do that, I’m trying to correct myself of that this year so we’ll see how that goes. But anyway, I will be reviewing the Touch In Sol No Problem primer, so let’s get right into it.
Let’s start out with this, this little guy will run you $18.00, which seeing as it’s sold at Sephora is a pretty good price for there, I think so anyway. You get a little over an ounce in this bottle, which is a pretty good size, especially for the price.
I don’t love this packaging, I don’t hate either but it’s nothing really that interesting. I do really appreciate that this is a pump, I think I prefer it over a tube, but that may just be my own preference. This product has very simple and standard packaging, but that is better than terrible packaging.
I guess now I’m going to talk a bit about what I think about the product itself because as we all know, it’s what’s on the inside that counts. The texture of this one was a little bit strange to me, meaning it’s supposed to be pore covering, so I expected it to be a bit thicker and more sticky, like other pore filling and smoothing primers.
This has a very soft and almost lotion-like texture to me, I actually kind of prefer this texture to the other ones with similar claims. I will say this though, I don’t find that this smooths and blurs my face as well as Benefit’s Porefessional, but it for sure feels better on the skin.
I think this does smooth the appearance of my skin a fair amount and really help with that ‘perfected’ skin look, which is exactly what this product is aiming to do.
The only thing about this one that I really don’t like is the smell, I don’t know what it is about the smell but I’m really not into it. It smells strange and somewhat off to me, it’s not the most offensive thing that I’ve ever smelt cosmetics wise but it is a scent that has stuck with me.
Overall I like this primer, I don’t think it’s my favorite but it’s a good primer, it smooths, it smells a little strange and it feels really nice on the skin.
What is your favorite primer?
