Pack With Me: Travel Makeup

Pack With Me_ Travel Makeup

I have decided to do a little pack with me as I am going to Florida for Christmas, just in case I haven’t already mentioned that more times than a person ever should. I don’t have any other pack with me’s scheduled but I think it’s really interesting to see the makeup and skincare that someone travels with, so I’ve decided to do just that and share it today, I’m sure I’m packing way too much but let’s get into looking at the things that I am taking with me to Florida.

Let’s start with my base products, these are the ones that I am for sure taking with me and will not be switching. I have chosen products that I knew are tried and true favorites for a fantastic base.

Urban Decay Optical Illusion Complexion Primer – This is the only product that isn’t something that I’ve used before, I just wasn’t sure what primer to bring with me so I figured I’d test out a newer one to me and this is the one I settled on.

Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer in Porcelain – This is easily one of my favorite foundations now that I have it in the correct shade, this just leaves my skin looking flawless and feels like nothing on the skin so of course, this is what I’m taking along as it will look great in any snaps that might be taken but also not feel like anything on the face.

Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder Mini – I recently started using this and am really loving it so I decided that it had to come with me to Florida to set my makeup and help make it last.

Mac Prime + Prep Fix+ Coconut – I never thought that I would love a setting spray as much as I love this one, I am ready for them to make the coconut scent permanent instead of just rolling it out every so often as I need it in my life.

Pixi Sun Mist – This is in my project pan at the moment and I am going to Florida, a place where there should hopefully be a lot of sunshine, so bringing this along just makes a lot of sense to me, it’s like killing two birds with one stone.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer – I never thought I would like this but it has quickly become one of my favorites, so it had to come along on this trip with me.

NYX Blotting Powder in Light – I am bringing two powders with me, mostly because I love this one and sometimes when I get a little bit over eager and apply too much blush, this has a little bit of color to it and will help blend it out, so this is something I for sure want to bring along.

Now to continue on with the face products but these are more cheek products I would call them, I kept my selection fairly slim here as I didn’t want too much here, I’m kind of sticking with that simple and clean base.

The Body Shop Face Contouring Palette – I have this in the lighter shade and it is new to me, but I really want to play with that and since I am leaving in two days I won’t have a whole lot of time to play with it beforehand. This looks really pretty and I’m hoping it applies as nicely as it swatches.

Nars Dolce Vita Blush – This is my favorite shade of just about anything, I currently own two different Nars products in this shade and they are stunning, I’m really debating picking up something else just because of how effortless this shade looks with any look. This is just an easy shade to wear so it’s for sure something that I wanted to bring.

Colourpop Super Shock Cheek Smoke N Whistles – This may have been my very first colour pop purchase and this is in my project pan, but this is just such a pretty and easy to use highlighter that goes with any look, so long as you aren’t looking for anything too subtle, because this one isn’t.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Foundation Stick in Fawn – Is my new all-time favorite contour, I never thought that I would enjoy a foundation stick or a stick contour as much as I enjoy this one. This is just the perfect shade while also being super blendable and easy to use, so if I want to go softer or a tiny bit bolder it is perfect and easy to use.

Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Baby Love – This is hands down my most loved blush, it’s just so easy to use and goes with every makeup look I could ever want to do, if I’m going for something bolder or if I’m just toning it down, it works perfectly with everything and that makes it easy to bring along.

Now to slip into eyes, I kept this one fairly simple as well and decided to travel with just a few smaller palettes, just enough to give me some variety but not really weigh me down.

Lorac Pro Matte – This is another item in my project pan and is one I am working towards using up, some of the shades are proving to be difficult but I’m working on and trying, so along this comes.

The Body Shop We Rule The World Palette – I’m bringing this along pretty much for the same reason as the other body shop palette I’m bringing with me, this is new to me and is something that I haven’t had a lot of time with, so I’m throwing it in the bag to bring along so I can play with it.

Physician’s Formula Eyeshadow Quad in Classic Nudes – This is something that I’ve had for a while but have really wanted to play with, so since I have so many matte shadows I am bringing along with me I think this would make for a nice pop of shimmer because these shimmer shades mean business.

This is the section that I may have gotten a little over eager with and gone a little bit overboard, but we’re driving so it’s not like I have limited space and if the worst place I overpack is my makeup then I would say it’s not too bad, right? I think so.

Benefit Roller Lash – This is my favorite mascara, I’ve been obsessed with it and I’m finally done with the small tube, so instead of trying a new or different mascara I’ve just moved on to the full size of this one and I’m okay with that.

Too Faced Shadow Insurance – Is my all time favorite eyeshadow primer and instead of trying to mess with another Lorac Behind The Scenes, I’ve just pulled this out and I am super excited to try this again. I hope I love this as much as I remember because it has been a little while.

Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow In Kitten Karma – This is perfect for Christmas parties and since I will be going to one I had to bring this along, glitter is a great and fun addition to a festive look, plus this one is my favorite.

e.l.f. Pop Of Glitter Gel in Rose Gold – This is new to me and is glitter, so I had to bring this because it’s fun and something that I might want to try playing with while I’m gone, so into the bag it goes.

Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum in Black – This is my all time favorite liquid eyeliner, it’s not the blackest one that I’ve used but it is fairly black and it’s super easy for me to use and makes for easy wings.

NYX Slide On Eye Pencil in Tropical Green – This just feels like something that is fun and festive, so I wanted to throw it in and if I don’t use it’ll be fine but if I do then I’ll have it ready to go.

Essence Extreme Lasting Eye Pencil in Blacklove – This is what I use to tightline, it last pretty well and is super easy to use, so if I plan on wearing eyeliner then I have to bring this one along.

The Balm Batter Up Eyeshadow Stick in Moonshot – This is newer to me, this is something I find my self-using often as of recently and that is something that I’m bringing because it works great for a quick makeup look and brings some shimmer to the eye if that’s what I’m looking for.

Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Definer in In The Nude – This is the eyeliner I pretty much always use on my waterline to brighten the eye, if I’m not wearing something fun then more than likely I am wearing this there.

Fiona Stiles Micro-Precision Brow Sculpting Pencil in Neutral Brown – This is yet another item that is in my project pan that I am taking along with me, this is a great eyebrow pencil I just don’t use eye pencils all of the time, but I’m taking this along so I have the option.

This is the section where I had to pull myself back with because I had a lot more than this when I started, but I trimmed the fat and these are the products I settled with in the end.

The Estee Edit The Barest Contour in In The Buff – This is the last product from my project pan and this is probably one of the few items that I really fell in love with during this project, this is the perfect lip liner to wear under things or even to wear by itself, it’s just really fantastic.

SweetClementineSoaps Mint Chocolate Chip Lip Scrub – This is a newer lip scrub to me and I want to play with it and try it out, so into the bag with me it goes. This smell delicious so I’m hoping it’s fantastic.

Skin Fix Candy Cane Lip Balm – I can’t link this because this came in a set that is no longer available, so it’s just something I can’t find. I decided to bring this as my lip balm because it is super festive.

e.l.f. Beauty Shield Lipstick in Dusty Rose Shield – This is newer to me and I am obsessed with this lipstick already, so I for sure cannot leave the state of Virginia without this.

Etude House Dear Darling Tint in Red Bean Red – I forgot I had this and when I was digging through my stuff, debating what to bring and what to leave, I stumbled upon this, sniffed it and then got really excited so I threw it in my makeup bag to take with me.

Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey – I adore this lipstick! This is a lipstick my mother in law turned me on to pretty much and it’s a great one, this is just flattering on everyone and I really like it, plus I think it’s a really effortless and that’s something that I’ve really been loving in terms of lip products.

That was a long one, which I should have expected because I talk too much and am bringing along a bunch of stuff, probably too much stuff but we’ll see. Plus, if I don’t use some of this stuff is it really a big deal? I don’t think so. I’m hoping to not add anything but that it something else that may happen, bur probably not, but maybe.

Do you travel light in terms of makeup or are you an over packer like yours truly?
