November 2017 Empties

November2017Empties

Trash talk time! This month we have a little tiny bit more to talk about than last month, which is a bittersweet thing as it means that I get to share more items with you and my opinion on them, but that also makes for a longer and wordier post. Either way, let’s get into talking about some empties.

20171126_061350.jpg

Head & Shoulders Dry Scalp 2-In-1 – I use this as a shampoo as I can’t find the dry scalp care in shampoo only any longer, so I can’t really vouch for how well this does as a 2-in-1 product as I never used it as both things. I sometimes get dandruff and usually have a fairly dry scalp, so this does this job, I don’t use this everytime I wash my hair but it is something that I keep at all times just to keep up with. Repurchase: Completely, I still need to pick one up though.

Calily Life Coconut Oil Hair Mask – This mask is a little bit pricier then the hair mask I am currently using, but the size of this is huge, I use this once a week, bought this back at the beginning of July and just recently finished it, so I’d say this product has a lot of bang for the buck. I enjoyed this but I’ve found a hair mask that I think I enjoy more. Repurchase: Maybe sometime.

Ouai Rose Hair & Body Oil – I have mixed feelings about this one, I’m not really sure why but I enjoyed using this, but I also don’t feel like it did anything for my hair. I wasn’t a huge fan of the smell either, it didn’t bother me but I didn’t like it either. Repurchase: No.

OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Conditioner – This wasn’t the worst conditioner that I have ever used but this wasn’t great either, I was expecting big things from this one since it is a miracle oil conditioner, but I don’t think it was, not even the slightest. Repurchase: Probably not, it was alright but didn’t do enough for me.

Clinique Pep Start Eye Cream – This little tube of eye cream wen on forever, it seriously lasted so long, I guess it’s not that surprising seeing as this is a pretty large sample size of eye cream. I’m never really completely sure if eye cream does anything but I still use it when I get a sample. I think this was fairly moisturizing, didn’t have much of a smell and seemed like a pretty good product. Repurchase: Maybe

Milk Makeup Blur Stick – I feel like Sephora gives these out like candy, I have used up one or two in the past already and I recently got another one as a part of a gift set, I like this product but I’m also going back and forth with it. I think it does a pretty good job of blurring the skin and making it look perfect, but I kind of hate the stick form of it, I feel like it drags across my skin. Repurchase: Maybe but probably not.

Garnier Skin Active Micellar Makeup Removing Towelettes – I’m sure if you’ve ever seen any of my past empties then you know my feelings about these, these are my all-time favorite makeup removers and I always have them on hand. Repurchase: Already have.

Clinique Pep Start 2-in1 Exfoliating Cleanser – I hated the smell of this, so much so that I started to dread using this and I think that’s part of the reason why it took me so long to finish this one up. I think it did a fine job at exfoliating and cleansing, but the smell was too much for me. Repurchase: No.

Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Definer in Black – I thought this was going to be fantastic because I quite enjoy my nude one, but this one just wasn’t everything I wanted, it bled and moved around a lot in the inner corner, so this one has to go. Repurchase: No.

Mario Badescu Strawberry Face Scrub – I was obsessed with Mario Badescu for a hot minute there, which I still enjoy the products but I was itching to get my hands on anything and everything that I could, this was one of those. While I have used this up completely I didn’t really enjoy it, the little seeds as exfoliators to me we’re very strange and I was not a fan. Repurchase: No.

Ulta Luxe Luxurious Cleansing Body Wash in Coconut + Almond Milk – This makes for an excellent bubble bath if you are looking for a lot of bubbles, as for a body wash I think this one is fine, not my favorite that I’ve ever but it is nice. The smell of this one is really soft but warm at the same time, I quite like it. Repurchase: Maybe.

Bath & Body Works Pumpkin Cupcake Candle – I do not believe they have this on the site anymore, which is kind of sad because I was hoping to pick up another one of these before the season was over but I guess that shipped has sailed. As you might be able to tell, I really like this one, it’s sweet, it’s spicy and it smells like food which I think is perfect at this time of the year. Repurchase: Yes, I completely would.

Up & Up Scent Escapes Shave Gel – This is my go-to shaving gel, I don’t always stick to the same scent but I pretty much only buy this brand and it does the job. Repurchase: I really need to.

Philosophy Renewed Hope In a Jar – This is just a little sample size but I enjoyed this, I really enjoy most moisturizer samples. This one didn’t have much a smell, was a really nice consistency and did a pretty good job. Repurchase: Maybe

Bath & Bodyworks Beautiful Day Foaming Hand Soap – This is something I’m pretty sure I’ve used up before and I liked it, I like the foaming hand soaps quite a bit and the scent is nice, it’s not too in your face but it’s clean smelling and does have a scent to it, which is nice. Repurchase: Probably sometime.

And those are all of my empty products for the month of November, more than last month but nothing too crazy I think. Not very much makeup either, but then again I never really seem to use makeup as quickly as I might like.

Have you used up anything neat this month?
