Disney Inspired: Aurora

Disney Inspired

I think I’m in a little bit of a Disney princesses slump here, last month it was Jasmine and the month before Rapunzel, and now I plan on doing Aurora, at this point I’m debating just keeping up with doing all the princesses but at the same time that pretty much plans out my entire Disney inspired look for the next year, so I’m not sure about it. We’ll see what happens, but either way I know for the time being that I am doing Aurora because I saw something somewhere that inspired me to use her as inspiration this month. So, let’s jump right on into Aurora.

These are the photos I have used for inspiration for Aurora, I know the one doesn’t even have her in it but it does have her dress in it so I am counting it as Aurora. I wanted to do something a little bit different today and something fun, I feel like everything I’ve done so far is very literal or very wearable for every day, so to step out of my comfort zone a little bit I decided to do the blue/pink dress from Sleeping beauty but I also brought a little bit of Aurora herself. Enough about this now, let’s jump into the look that was inspired by these two photos.

Both Sides: Lorac Behind The Scenes Primer, NYX Glam Eyeliner in 04, Benefit Roller Lash Mascara, Laura Geller Caviar Stick in Rose Gold,  No Poreblem Prime, Milani Conceal + Perfect Foundation, Tarte Shape Tape Concealer and NYX Stay Matte Powder. Blue: Bronx Cosmetics Aquamarine Eyeshadows, Huda Beauty Electric Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette, Morphe 35B Palette, Mac Minty Shade, Makeup Geek Peacock and Lime Crime Mermaids Highlighter Palette in Mermaid. Pink: Urban Decay Savage, Morphe 35B Palette and Anastasia Beverley Hills Sugar Glow Kit in Starburst.

I want to take a second to apologize for the cosmetics list, this one has not been my best and has a lot of guessing in it but I wasn’t sure what a couple of the things were called or how to share what shades I used.

This month has more photos than usual, it is true, but that’s mostly because I did two different looks basically. I think this look is a little bit strange and a little bit out there, but I like it. I started with one pink and one blue eye, that was the original idea but then I derailed a little bit and was like I’m going to contour, blush and highlight with blue and pink, I also debated doing eyebrows and lips that way but I decided against it, I didn’t want this to be way too much so I opted not to do that. I am happy with this look, it’s a little bit strange but I still like it.

Team pink or blue?
