Today I have a tiny little mini Glossier haul, it’s very small and I’m not even completely sure it can be called a haul but I am going to call it one, it consists of two items which I plan on giving mini-reviews. I think the theme of this post is minis, the products, however, aren’t minis. Anyway, let’s jump on in and talk about the couple of Glossier products I just had to get my hands on.
The two items that I picked up are the Cloud Paint in the shade Puff, which will run you $18.00 for 0.33oz of product, which isn’t too bad if you ask me. The other thing I picked up is one of the Balm Dotcoms in Birthday, which will run you $12.00 for 0.5oz.
I want to start this out by talking about the packaging, I enjoy this packaging a lot more than I thought I would, everything to do with this packaging is just very sleek and easy to look at. Even the little pouch that they mail your products to you in. I just think it looks really nice.
Now, to talk a little bit about the products, I think I’m going to start with the Balm Dotcom in Birthday, I’m so happy I settled on this scent and this product, it’s so good. I love the actual packaging, which you will see in the photo below, it’s really fun and has a holographic touch to it which I love. I also love the scent of this product, I don’t know how to describe this exactly other than it smells amazing, like a bakery almost, but not quite, it’s really nice and I would completely recommend this scent.
The other thing about the Balm Dotcom it that it is super thick but that also means it’s super moisturizing as well, which is a fantastic thing if you ask me. I have really dry lips that get worse going into this time of the year, so I’m really curious how this is going to do in the upcoming months.
Now, to talk about the cloud paint, I had heard a lot of mixed reviews about this one and a lot of people saying that this was a little bit difficult to work with. I wasn’t really sure what to expect but I will say this, this blush was way more liquidy than I thought it would be, the first time I used it I thought I was being gentle and squeezed out too much.
I did enjoy this a lot though, even after hearing so many mixed reviews and it taking a little bit to figure out exactly how to use it, I like this. It gives a really nice flush of pink to the cheeks while still looking really natural and melting into the skin. This also lasts really well on the skin and a little bit goes a long way, so I could see using this for quite a while.
And that’s my itty bitty Glossier haul, this is probably the smallest haul I’ve ever done and I don’t think it can really get any smaller than this, mostly because at that point it’s just a review. Overall I am pretty happy with my purchase and could see myself trying out other things in the future.
