October 2017 Favorites & Face

OctoberFavorites

It’s November, Happy November! I am excited about this month because it means it’s finally acceptable for me to talk about Christmas, depending on who you ask they might say it’s not but everyone around me says it is and I am excited about this. This month has gone by in the blink of an eye, it feels like just yesterday I was writing my September favorites and now it’s time for the October ones, so I guess we can just jump into it.

NARS Blush in Peep Show – $30 – I had a lot of blushes in last months picks and this one ended up being one of my favorites, this is such a fun and bright shade that I think is a great shade to transition from summer to fall, although I would completely wear this throughout the other seasons as well.

Burt’s Bees Blush in Shy Pink – $9.99 –  I wasn’t sure about this range because it’s so expensive for drugstore, so I just dipped my toe in a little bit to test out the range with this blush. I like this blush, not sure that it’s the best blush I’ve ever used but it’s nice. I love the packaging.

L’oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation – $12.99 – I’ve had this foundation for a little while but haven’t really touched it a whole lot yet, however it was my foundation for the month of October and I love this. I’m going to have to bring this into the rotation a lot more, it’s a really lovely foundation, has good coverage and doesn’t feel too heavy.

The Estee Edit The Barest Contour Lip Liner – I can’t remember what shade this is and I don’t think they sell these anymore so I can’t really link it or give you a price, but this is in my project pan and I’ve been using it a lot in attempts to use it up. I like the shade a lot and really like this formula as well, it’s easy to control and lasts really nicely.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer – $8.99 – This is one of my new favorite concealers, it’s a really great formula and I love it so much! The only complaint that I might have is the applicator, I just feel like I’m using so much of this up but for nine dollars I really can’t complain.

Becca Backlight Priming Filter – $38.00 – I’ve had this sample forever and recently put it in my project pan to see what I thought of it and I’m not really sure why I stopped using this or how I haven’t finished this up as I really love this primer. I’m thinking about purchasing the full size of this one even.

Lancome Juicy Shaker in Meli Melon – $22.00 – This is something that is new to me, I picked it up this month actually but it is something that I have been loving and had to be on this list. I think this is a super cute design and I love the texture of this, it just gives the littlest bit of a flush of color but it feels amazing on the lips and is really pretty, so I’m a big fan of this product already.

Benefit Roller Lash – $24.00 – Is something that I might talk about way too much now but that’s alright because this mascara is fantastic. It’s really dark, holds a good curl and isn’t too wet of a formula, which is everything I want.

Anastasia Foundation Stick in Fawn – $25.00 – This is something that I never thought I would enjoy but it turns out I love it, I’ve been playing with this a little bit and it’s really creamy, easy to blend out and looks like a very natural contour shade that I am all about.

Eyes: Lorac Behind The Scenes Primer, Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette in Dawn, Adorn and Fudge, Essence Extreme Lasting Eye Pencil in Black Love, Essence Superfine Eyeliner Pen in Deep Black, Rimmel Exaggerate Eyeliner in In The Nude and Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. Face: Milk Makeup Blur Stick, Becca Backlight Priming Filter, L’oreal Infalliable Pro Matte Foundation in Classic Ivory, Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Fair, Anastasia Beverly Hills Foundation stick in Fawn, NYX Blotting Powder in Light, Coloupop Super Shock Cheek in Smokin’ Whistles andBurt’s Bees Blush in Shy Pink. Lips: The Estee Edit The Barest Contour Lip Liner in In The Buff and Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss in Peach.

And those are my favorites and face for the month, a pretty boring October but all things that have just preformed amazingly and are just really quite pretty, I am super happy with all of these products.

What are some of your October favorites?
