It’s Monday and I’m posting again! Last week I posted part one of my giant haul, which really should have been called my giant, way too big, massive haul because this one is a doozy. This is the final part and while I think this half is smaller, I imagine it’s still going to be a long one, so grab a snack, a drink and settle in for this giant haul post.
Tarte Lippie Lingerie Set – I am so excited about this one! Many years ago I loved the Tarte lipsurgences and I loved getting the holiday sets they would sell like this, but one day they seemed to disappear but it does appear that they came back in the form of the Lippie Lingerie, which I am okay with even if it does mean that they are all matte. I saw this set and knew I had to have it, plus it’s really a steal when you think about it, it’s cheaper than two would cost you and you get four in this really pretty packaging.
Ulta Metallic Lipstick in Sweet Surprise – I just wanted to try out some of the Ulta brand lipsticks and I also kind of wanted to try out a metallic lipstick, I have metallic liquid lipsticks but I haven’t had a regular one yet, which is why I’ve decided to pick this one up.
Ulta Matte Lipstick in 224 – Another one if their lipsticks, I believe this one is from the regular line of lipsticks, which I’ve had before and know that I really enjoy because they are super affordable and they are very moisturizing too.
Ulta Nude Lipstick in Pink Chocolate – The last of the Ulta brand lipsticks that I wanted to try, I love nude lipsticks so of course, I had to pick myself one out of the nude range. These were on sale at the time as well so all of these lipsticks were very affordable.
Pacifica Rainbow Watermelon Lip Balm – I love watermelon, I’m pretty sure I said that at least once in last weeks haul but it is still true in this haul, and probably will be forever. I love the brand Pacifica and I love watermelon, so this lip balm seemed perfect for me. I also really love the packaging, it’s right up my alley and it’s super fun.
NYX Lip Liner in Peekaboo Neutral – I just wanted to add a lip liner, I can’t remember why I picked this up but it’s probably due to the fact that I’m really starting to enjoy lining my lips and just using a liner as a lip color as well.
Seche Vive – I’ve never heard of this product but I have used Seche Vite before and it’s a pretty good top coat, so since this one is claiming to be like a gel polish and I just had to try it out for myself, so here we are.
China Glaze Glamcore – I really don’t need any more nail polish but at the same time I needed some fall and winter colored nail polish, I feel like I have a ton of softer colors and brighter calls but not a lot of darker shades. So, that’s how this one came to be and how most of these polishes in this haul did.
China Glaze Barque Jungle – This one is such a pretty dark teal kind of shade that I am super excited to wear and rock all winter long, it just feels like such a great winter nail shade.
OPI Infinite Shine Reykjavik Has All The Hotspots – This color is stunning and seems like a great year-round shade like it looks perfect for the fall time but if I wore it in the springtime I wouldn’t really feel out of place either. I’ve already worn this shade and loved the color, hated that it started to chip next day but I’m thinking that might be something to do with my top and base coat combination.
OPI Infinite Shine Aurora Berry-Alis – This is such a pretty dark rose shade that I also think will be great for multiple seasons, it seems like a great transition kind of shade between the winter and springtime especially.
OPI Infinite Shine CIA= Color Is Awesome – Another deep teal kind of shade, which I’m hoping is not a dupe for the one above as I didn’t put any research into this one, but if it is then I guess I’ll have twice as much to enjoy.
OPI Infinite Shine Withstands The Test of Thyme – This one is not a fall or wintertime shade in the slightest bit, but this one was on a great sale when I picked it up and I had been debating it for a while, so seeing it discounted was the final push I needed into this really pretty bright minty teal kind of shade.
Okalan Matte Eyeshadow Palettes in Fire & Earth – I bought some dupes, I’ve been looking at the limecrime venus palettes for way too long now, debating if I really needed them or not, but when I saw these two I had to have them. These were on sale for $8 when I picked them up, so even if they aren’t great I won’t be too upset about wasting money. This is also a fantastic way to see if I really think I’m going to use the original ones or if these shades just aren’t for me.
NYX In Your Element in Air & Earth – I think these are a bit steep for the NYX brand and for what they are, but I had to pick one up, which led to me having to pick up the second one to try out. So far, I like these, as you may have seen in my review yesterday and the other I haven’t played a whole lot with yet.
Kat Von D Shade & Light Contour Quad in Plum – I was so excited to finally try some more Kat Von D products that when I saw these were on sale I just had to scoop one up and try it for myself. I now understand why everyone loved the shade and light palette, these mattes are some of the best that I have ever used and now I’m debating if I need a couple more of these and maybe even the shade and light palette itself, I’m not sure right now though but these are fantastic quality shadows.
NARS Narsissist Cheek Studio Palette – This was on sale for half off and had so many blushes and such in it and as someone who has just fairly recently started getting into NARS products I was super excited to get my hands on this for a discounted price! This was a steal that I am still super excited about.
Urban Decay Naked Flushed in Naked – This was such an impulse purchase, this wasn’t even on my radar but then I saw someone on instagram post swatches, at least I think that’s what happened if I’m remembering correctly and now I own this. So far I’m not upset about it but I really need to try it out more.
Nars Blush in Peep Show – I saw a swatch of this and knew that this was something that I had to own, it just looked like such a stunning color and something that I for sure don’t own anything like, I’m really happy to have picked this one up.
Dose Of Colors Blush Like You Mint It in StateMint – I loved the packaging from this entire collection and was itching to get my hands on one of these blushes, partly to try out and partly because I was just drooling over this packaging and needed to own something that was soft and minty.
Sephora Birthday Tarte Set – I can’t link this because this is not something that you can purchase, my birthday was last month so of course I had to pick up my Sephora birthday gift. This one was a little bit hard to decide between but I decided to go for the Tarte set as I think these are exclusive shades, whereas the skincare I could pick up full sizes of anyday and it’s the same.
NYX Blotting Powder In Light -I just needed a good powder back in my life which means that I had to get this one back in my life, having lived without it for a couple of weeks I am now sure that this is the best face powder that I have used thus far. Is it the best one on the market ever? I’m not sure but it is the best that I’ve tried.
Laura Geller Baked Balance N Brighten in Porcelain – Another powder that I have picked up, I love the baked blushes from Laura Geller and the gelato range, so I wanted to give this a try while it was on sale. Not much to report of this one yet.
Dermablend Loose Setting Powder – This is the best loose setting powder I have ever used, it’s the only sample size or full-size loose powder that I’ve ever used up, so I think that says something about this powder. I am very excited to have this in my possession again.
I Dew Care Disco Kitten Mask – I’ve heard great things about this mask, it’s called disco kitten and it’s a peeling mask, so this sounded right up my alley, along with the fact that I am pretty much face mask obsessed at the current moment in time. So, I’m super excited to try this one out!
I Dew Care Mini Magic Clay Mask Set – I love the packaging of this so much, such pretty sunset pastel kind of colors along with the fact that it’s ombre, it’s really a pretty box. I’m also excited to get to try out a bunch of little masks, hopefully I’ll like a couple of these at least.
Too Faced Sketchmarkers in Pure White, Deep Lilac, Smokey Emerald and Deep Navy Blue – This started with me wanting a white eyeliner and ended up with me looking at all of the shades and wanting at least half of them, but I kept myself fairly in check and only ordered four. This was at the start of the sale so I was like, whatever, throw a bunch in the cart so I’m sure if this has been later in the month I may have kept it down to two or three at the very most. I guess it’s lucky that it was at the beginning.
Too Faced Shadow Insurance – This is my all time favorite eyeshadow primer, I’ve been without it for a while and seeing it on sale meant that it was time for it to come back to my collection.
Urban Decay Razor Sharp Liquid Liner in Bump – I really wanted a white eyeliner so I bought this one as well, this is just white but it’s a liquid instead of a pen, so this why either way I want to use it I have it.
Tarte Tartiest Mascara – I heard amazing things about this mascara when it came out and I wanted it, however, I’m super cheap when it comes to mascara so I never actually picked it up, but seeing it on sale was enough to make me be like yes, I would like to try this. Haven’t tried this yet but it will probably be the next mascara that I put into my rotation.
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara – I have a sample of this and this might be the best mascara that I have ever tried, which is bittersweet, sweet because it means I found an amazing mascara but bitter because it has to be high end of course. I’m not anywhere near needing to pick up new mascara but out of curiosity, does anyone have any suggestions of great dupes for this mascara?
Lorac Alter Ego Lipstick in Cat Lady – I am going to start this out by saying this, yes, I did purchase this because it’s called Cat Lady. I love lipstick, this color looks like something I would enjoy and it was on sale, but the thing that really caught my attention was that it was called cat lady and I had to have it.
Lorac Alter Ego Lip Gloss in Visionary – I think I picked this one up because I was getting the lipstick and these were on sale, so I figured I’d get a gloss that would kind of go with the lipstick.
Buxom Plump Line in Hush – This was such an impulse as well, but I like this so far and so far I think I just really like Buxom products. This also falls into the recent lip line obsession, so really this just checks all the marks for me.
And that is everything that I purchased at the end of August and all of September, way too much stuff but I had a lot of fun playing with new makeup and skincare so I think it was worth it. This is why I am on a no buy though, which I think makes total sense now that everyone has seen the giant, way too big, massive haul I have posted between today and last week.
