Disney Inspired: Jasmine

Disney Inspired (1)

I’m back a little bit earlier this month with a Disney inspired look, last month I was really late with my Rapunzel, but, this month I am more on track. This month I decided to Jasmine because of an image that I saw on Pinterest, that I did not recreate particularly well but I think it still looks nice, you can tell me what you think below. Also, almost regretting not picking a more festive character as it is Friday the 13th, but too late now and I’m still pretty happy with how Jasmine came out, just might not have been my best choice for this day in the month of October. Anyway, enough rambling, let’s get into looking at the look I created.

These are the images that I’ve chosen to give me inspiration for Jasmine, I’m not really sure why but I just really liked these images and pulled from them. This month, as you will see below, I did a look based on the colors and spirit of Jasmine more than anything. I think Jasmine is soft but has a real edge to her and I’d like to think that’s what this look below kind of reminds me of, soft, bold and has a little bit of an edge, just like Jasmine.

Eyes: Lorac Behind The Scenes Primer, Lorac Pro Matte Palette in Corduroy, NYX Vivid Brights in Aqua Saphire, NYX Roll On Shimmer in Green, Urban Decay Heavy Metal Eyeliner in Midnight Cowboy, Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum in Ultra Black, Lime Crime Mermaids Highlighter Palette in Mermaid and Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. Face: Becca Backlight Priming Filter Primer, L’oreal Pro Matte Foundation in Classic Ivory, Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer in Fair, Anastasia Beverley Hills Foundation Stick in Fawn, NYX Blotting Powder in Light, City Colors Contour Palette On The Go, Nars Blush in Dulce Vita, Elf Blush in Blushing Rose, Colourpop Super Shock Cheek in Smokin’ Whistles and NYX Matte Setting Spray. Lips: The Estee Edit The Barest Contour Lip Liner in In The Buff and Anastasia Beverley Hills Lip Gloss in Kristen.

If I hadn’t messed up the glitter I think this would look damn near perfect to what I had wanted it to look like, but I did mess up the glitter so it looks a little sloppy, but still very Jasmine. I think what happened with the glitter was I should have kept my eye shut until I really thought it was dry, but I did not so I think it smeared. Other than that I am super happy with how this turned out.

What Disney character should I do next month?
