October 2017 Shop My Stash

October ShopMy Stash

It’s time for a newer post, I did this kind of post for the first time last month and I enjoyed it so I decided to bring it back. This is something that I pretty much do all the time since I moved my makeup out of my one desk drawer and into a large storage container, or more outgrew my one desk drawer I guess, I try and pick out some products to play with for a month or so but I think I’m going to turn this into a monthly series and see how it goes. So, let’s get into talking about a bunch of products that I plan on trying out for the month of October.

Colourpop Face Duo – I really can’t remember which shade this is, I looked on the website and tried to see if any of them sounded familiar but they didn’t, and seeing as colourpop pumps out so many products I’m sure it could be something that isn’t available any longer. I do want to try this out as I don’t think I’ve given it a fair shot yet, so we’ll see how it goes this month.

Burt’s Bees Blush in Shy Pink – This is new to me, which is probably going to be a pretty reoccurring thing in this post, a lot of new things have gone into this post as I want to try them out. I partially got this because it was new and partially because of the shape of it, but either way, I am excited to try it out.

Elf Illuminating Powder – I am on the fence of keeping this or getting rid of it, so I’ve decided to throw it into this months rotation and try it out more so I can see how I really feel about it.

Nars Blush in Peep Show – I am so excited about this one! This is my third Nars blush and this one is so different than anything else I currently own, it’s bright, it’s fun but I also think that this will be pretty wearable so I am excited to play with this one.

Dose Of Colors Blush in StateMint – I got sucked into the packaging so hard with this one, I just think the packaging for this one is so cute, I love the color, I love how simple it looks and I am just really happy with the look of it. I am excited about the product too, I haven’t seen a whole lot of reviews of this one but the color looks pretty.

Laura Geller Baked Balance & Brighten Foundation in Porcelain – Another new product for me, I got this powder and I hear a lot of good things about it, so time to test it out.

Glossier Cloud Paint in Puff – I forgot to photograph this one but I decided to throw it in here anyway, something else that is new to me and something that I’ve been sitting on getting for a while but I finally pulled to trigger and am going to try this out for myself. I’ve heard such mixed things about these but still ready to give them a whirl.

L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte in Classic Ivory – I’ve had this for so long, everyone seems to talk about it and love it, but I haven’t tried this yet, so I’ve settled on giving this a good go and making this my foundation for the month.

Benefit The Porefessional – I just love this primer and wanted to throw it back in the mix again, it’s a great product and I’m happy to use it some more.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation in Fawn – This was in lasts months shop my stash and I didn’t touch it, so I’ve brought it back this month and have kind of made it my goal to really try this one out and see how it goes. This one will be a contour shade for me, of course.

Benefits Watt’s Up – I wanted to throw a cream highlighter in here just for fun and because I’ve had this for so long it feels like and never really used it, but that’s going to change this month.

Maybelline Age Rewind in Fair – I believe this was also in last months shop my stash, but as you can probably see I really enjoyed it so I’ve brought it back to enjoy using some more this upcoming month.

Anastasia Beverly Hills – I haven’t hardly touched this since I posted my review of it in August, so I’ve decided to dust it off, put it in my drawer and play with it some more. I left it with not the best feeling but not the worst either, I just wasn’t super impressed by it and I’m hoping if I focus on using it more then I’ll really start to like it. Or maybe I’ll hate it, we’ll see.

Colourpop Creme Gel Liner in Best O – I really wanted to play with eyeliner this month, which is why there are three different eyeliners in this post, the first is this one, a gel is a really deep burgundy shade. It’s super pretty and usually, I love gel formulas, so it’s going to be fun to play with this one.

Urban Decay Razor Sharp Eyeliner in Bump – This one seems so fun and I’m so excited to use it, black is standard and at this point I think a bunch of colors are but this one is white, which I think is really different and I’m so excited to play with and try out to see how I like it.

Essence Extreme Lasting Eyeliner in Black love – I have been having some trouble with my all-time favorite black eyeliner for tightlining so I decided to try something new, which is where this one comes in. I didn’t want to pay a lot for it so I settled for something drugstore, we shall see how this one does.

Too Faced Melted Chocolate in Chocolate Honey – Is one that I love, I feel like the melted chocolate lipsticks do not get enough love, I think they’re great and quite enjoyable. I only own the one but still, I love it, it smells amazing, it’s a really pretty shade and it feels great on the lips. I think this is going to be a great shade for going into the fall season.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss in Kristen – I have tried only two lip glosses from Anastasia before but both of them have been incredibly pigmented, this one is too and I’m excited to wear it this month. This looks like it’s going to be a great pink for the fall time.

Pacifica Rainbow Watermelon Lip Balm – This is just new to me, while this seems more like a summer scent, I love watermelon all the time and am excited to see how well this does as a lip balm.

I think this is a great mix of products, much of which will be great during this trasition from summer into fall. I do think that I went a little light in terms of lip products but that is alright, I can always pull more in if I want to mix it up and it’s not like these are the only things I am going to be using, just things that I’m really trying to mix into my routine.

Are you excited about fall makeup?
