Disney Inspired: Megara

Disney Inspired

I am back this month with another installment of my Disney inspired makeup looks and I am super excited about it, I think this is probably one of my favorite blog series I’ve ever done and it just makes me really happy. In case you missed out on the first character in the series, last month I did Lottie from The Princess and The Frog.  This month I have settled on Megara from Hercules, another character that I feel like is a little bit under-loved, although I did not choose to do Meg, my fiance actually chose her.

These are the photos that I chose for inspiration, I think they both gave great personality and showed Meg’s makeup fairly clearly. The girl is a little bit sassy and I really wanted to show that in my inspiration and in my look a little bit. I took this one a little bit more literal than I had intended to but at the same time it’s not exact, I’m pretty much calling this one a glammed up Megara. I am obsessed with this look, the only thing that I wouldn’t have worn out is the brows just because I was trying to make them darker. Meg is full of sass and I love that about here, so I think a glammed up version of her isn’t that out there.

Meg is very simple in terms of colors, and I honestly has another intention for my eyes however it ended up just turning into rounded purple eyeshadow, which I think looks great but it wasn’t what I had in mind. Also, the highlighter in this look is my favorite thing ever! Now, onto the products I used!

And those are all of the products that I used to create this look, what do you guys think, does this scream Meg or did I miss the mark? Personally, I am very happy with it, though I do think it is a little bit hard to get right off the bat, with the inspiration included in this post I think it’s pretty good.

What character would you like to see next month?
